Os Estados-membros podem autorizar até 31 de Dezembro de 1984 a utilização , no seu território , de materiais de acabamento ( à máquina ) termoplásticos reutilizáveis , que não contenham mais de 50 % de PCT , destinados a apoiar , fixar e imobilizar as peças com vista a facilitar o seu tratamento de precisão e moldagem , aquando do fabrico ou manutenção de turbinas a gás para aeronaves e navios , reactores nucleares , dispositivos semicondutores , cascos de navios e fuselagens de aeronaves , longarinas e nervuras , lentes de alta precisão e lentes ópticas , matrizes de utensílios e modelos de ensaio para máquinas de moldagem por injecção , nas oficinas que notificarão para o efeito as autoridades competentes que terão aí à sua disposição documentação relativa à utilização desta substância . »

Until 31 December 1984 Member States may allow the use, in their territory, of re-usable thermoplastic tooling compounds containing not more than 50 % of PCT for the support, retention and stabilizing of parts in order to facilitate their precision machining and forming in the manufacture or maintenance of aircraft and marine gas turbines, nuclear reactors, semi-conductor devices, ship and aircraft frames, spars and stringers, high-precision and optical lenses, tool gauges and trial models for injection-moulding tools in premises notified for this purpose to the competent authorities where records of the use of this substance are kept available for these authorities.'

« 7. Os Estados-membros podem autorizar até 31 de Dezembro de 1984 a utilização, no seu território, de materiais de acabamento (à máquina) termoplásticos reutilizáveis, que não contenham mais de 50% de PCT, destinados a apoiar, fixar e imobilizar as peças com vista a facilitar o seu tratamento de precisão e moldagem, aquando do fabrico ou manutenção de turbinas a gás para aeronaves e navios, reactores nucleares, dispositivos semicondutores, cascos de navios e fuselagens de aeronaves, longarinas e nervuras, lentes de alta precisão e lentes ópticas, matrizes de utensílios e modelos de ensaio para máquinas de moldagem por injecção, nas oficinas que notificarão para o efeito as autoridades competentes que terão aí à sua disposição documentação relativa à utilização desta substância. »

'7. Por "defeitos importantes", entende-se toda e qualquer reentrância ou dobra com mais de 19 mm de profundidade num elemento estrutural, qualquer que seja o comprimento dessa deformação, toda e qualquer fissura ou ruptura num elemento estrutural, a existência de mais de uma ligação ou a existência de ligações impropriamente executadas (por exemplo, por meio de sobreposição) nas travessas superiores ou inferiores ou nos lintéis das portas, ou a existência de mais de duas ligações em qualquer uma das longarinas superiores ou inferiores, ou a existência de uma única conexão num limiar de porta ou num montante de ângulo, o facto de as charneiras das portas e as ferragens estarem gripadas, torcidas, quebradas, impróprias para uso ou em falta, o facto de as juntas e guarnições não serem estanques ou qualquer distorção de conjunto que impeça o correcto posicionamento do material de movimentação, a montagem e o carregamento sobre os chassis ou os veículos.

Major defects" are dents or bends in structural members greater than 19 mm in depth, regardless of length; cracks or breaks in structural members; more than one splice or an improper splice (eg. a lapped splice) in top or bottom end rails or door headers or more than two splices in any one top or bottom side rail or any splice in a door sill or corner post; door hinges and hardware that are seized, twisted, broken, missing or otherwise inoperative; non-closing gaskets and seals; any distortion of the overall configuration sufficient to prevent proper alignment of handling equipment, mounting and securing on a chassis or vehicle.
