Supervisor

Temperaturen i pausutrymmen, lokaler för arbetsledningen, hygienutrymmen, matsalar och lokaler för första hjälpen skall vara avpassad till användningen av respektive lokal.

The temperature in rest areas, rooms for duty staff, sanitary facilities, canteens and first-aid rooms must be appropriate to the particular purpose of such areas.

2. Arbetstagarna skall omedelbart rapportera varje olycka eller tillbud i samband med hantering av ett biologiskt agens till arbetsledningen eller till den person som är ansvarig för hälsa och säkerhet på arbetsplatsen.

2. Workers shall immediately report any accident or incident involving the handling of a biological agent to the person in charge, or to the person responsible for safety and health at work.

Arbetsledningen skall ha skyldighet att känna till vilka av personalen som sysslar med klassificerat arbete eller som har tillgång till kommunikations- eller informationssystem som är nödvändiga ur operativ synvinkel och som registrerar och rapporterar om incidenter eller uppenbart sårbara punkter som skulle kunna påverka säkerheten.

Managers shall have the duty of knowing those of their staff who are engaged in classified work or who have access to mission-critical communication or information systems and of recording and reporting any incidents or apparent vulnerabilities, likely to have a bearing on security.

Arbetsgivaren skall säkerställa att alla arbetstagare, i fall då en allvarlig och överhängande fara för arbetstagarnas och/eller andras säkerhet föreligger, och då den närmast ansvariga arbetsledningen inte kan kontaktas, kan vidta lämpliga åtgärder med hänsyn till sin kunskap och de tekniska resurser, som står till deras förfogande, för att avvärja en sådan fara.

The employer shall ensure that all workers are able, in the event of serious and imminent danger to their own safety and/or that of other persons, and where the immediate superior responsible cannot be contacted, to take the appropriate steps in the light of their knowledge and the technical means at their disposal, to avoid the consequences of such danger.

Ett viktigt nytt inslag är åtgärden för frigörande av den forskningspotential som finns i EU:s ”konvergensregioner” och yttersta randområden. En förutsättning för en kunskapsbaserad ekonomi och ett kunskapsbaserat samhälle är att man stärker kompetensen inom europeisk forskning, men även att man bättre kan utnyttja den stora, outnyttjade forskningspotential som finns i hela EU. Åtgärderna kommer att skapa möjligheter till rekrytering av forskare från andra EU-länder, utbyte av forskare och personal för arbetsledning, organisering av utvärderingsmöjligheter samt förvärvande och utveckling av forskningsutrustning. Den här typen av åtgärder kommer att komplettera behovet av och möjligheterna till att stärka forskningskapaciteten hos befintliga och nya spetsforskningsenheter i dessa regioner, och strukturfonderna kan utnyttjas för detta.

An important new element is the action to unlocking the full Research Potential in the EU´s “convergence” and outermost regions. The realisation of the knowledge-based economy and society relies on strengthening the excellence of European research, but also on better using “untapped” high research potential which exists all over the EU. Actions will allow for the recruitment of researchers from other EU countries, the secondment of research and management staff, the organisation of evaluation facilities and the acquisition and development of research equipment. Such actions will complement the needs and opportunities for reinforcing the research capacities of existing and emerging centres of excellence in these regions which can be met by Structural Funds.
