7. Recognizes, in regard to the decision of 1 August 2004 of the General Council of the World Trade Organization and consistent with the Doha work programme, the following issues of particular interest and concern to developing countries:

Invites the international financial institutions to ensure that, in their development cooperation activities with developing countries, the obligations of the latter with regard to their development policies, strategies and programmes in trade and trade-related areas are consistent with their commitments under the framework of rules agreed upon within the multilateral trading system;
