POY was produced in three different units and was sold as a finished product or used for the production of different products.

It was argued that the average PTY sales price increased more than the purchase price of POY and should therefore result in a positive development of the return on assets.

EPCG licences have been obtained by this exporting producer not only to produce the product concerned (PTY), but also to produce other products like polyester oriented yarn (POY), which is the main input that entered in the production of PTY.

Šis ražotājs eksportētājs ir ieguvis EPCG licences ne tikai, lai ražotu konkrēto ražojumu (TPP), bet arī lai ražotu citus ražojumus, piemēram, orientētus poliestera pavedienus (OPP), kas ir galvenā TPP izejviela.

(64) Peļņas no neto aktīviem attīstība bija saskaņā ar rentabilitātes skaitļiem un parādīja skaidru Kopienas ražošanas nozares stāvokļa pasliktināšanos īpaši pēc 1998. gada.(65) Indijas ražotāji eksportētāji apšaubīja peļņas no aktīviem līmeni, pamatojoties uz TPP attiecīgo cenas attīstību un galveno izejmateriālu, ko lieto TPP ražošanā (proti, POY). Apgalvoja, ka vidējās TPP pārdošanas cenas palielinājāsvairāk kā POY pirkuma maksa, un tādēļ tam būtu jāizraisa pozitīva peļņas no aktīviem attīstība.

Darba ražīgums -100 -105 -98 -87 -93 -95 -(50) Izpētes laikposmā Kopienas ražošanas nozares ražošanas apjoms palielinājās par 18%. Jāatzīmē, ka vislielākais pieaugums bija vērojams laikā no 1996. gada līdz 1998. gadam. Pēc tam ražošanas apjoma izmaiņas bija nevienmērīgas un izmeklēšanas laikposmā tā līmenis bija salīdzināms ar 1998. gada līmeni.

(66) It should firstly be noted that in the period 1999 to IP the average price of PTY and POY developed similarly. Secondly, consideration should be taken of the other elements of cost, i.e. other materials used as well as the cost of manufacturing. All these elements have been verified and taken into account for the establishment of the profitability and the return on investments in the period under consideration. The evolution of the value of the assets should also be considered in this respect. The argument was therefore rejected.

(66) Vispirms jāatzīmē, ka laika posmā no 1999. gada līdz ILP vidējās TPP un POY cenas attīstījās līdzīgi. Otrkārt, jāņem vērā citas izmaksu sastāvdaļas, t.i., citi lietotie materiāli, kā arī ražošanas izmaksas. Visas šīs sastāvdaļas ir pārbaudītas un ņemtas vērā, izskatīšanas laika posmā nosakot rentabilitāti un peļņu no ieguldītā kapitāla. Šajā sakarā ir jāņem vērā arī aktīvu vērtības attīstība.
