surely that you are promised is true ,
የምትቀጠሩት ( ትንሣኤ ) እውነት ነው ፡ ፡

away , away with that you are promised !
« ያ የምትስፈራሩበት ነገር ራቀ ፤ በጣም ራቀ ፡ ፡

then indeed , after that you are to die .
ከዚያም እናንተ ከዚህ በኋላ በእርግጥ ሟቾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

then is it to this statement that you are indifferent
በዚህ ንግግር እናንተ ቸልተኞች ናችሁን ?

how is it that you are not helping one another ?
( ለእነርሱም ) « የማትረዳዱት ለእናንተ ምን አላችሁ ? ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

we are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say .
አንተም በሚሉት ነገር ልብህ የሚጠብ መኾኑን በእርግጥ እናውቃለን ፡ ፡

and in heaven is your provision , and that you are promised .
ሲሳያችሁም የምትቀጠሩትም ( ፍዳና ምንዳ ) በሰማይ ውስጥ ነው ፡ ፡

' allah alone has the knowledge ' he said , ' i am sent to deliver to you the message . but i can see that you are ignorant people '
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

but the assembly of his nation said : ' we can see that you are in clear error . '
ከሕዝቦቹ ( የካዱት ) መሪዎቹ ፡ - « እኛ በግልጽ መሳሳት ውስጥ ኾነህ በእርግጥ እናይሃለን » አሉት ፡ ፡

and you are nothing but a man like us ; and we think that you are a liar .
« አንተም ብጤያችን ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለህም ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከውሸታሞች ነህ ብለን እንጠረጥርሃለን ፡ ፡

allah admonishes you that you should not return to the like of it ever again if you are believers .
ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

and since you were unjust , it will not profit you this day that you are sharers in the chastisement .
ስለ በደላችሁም ዛሬ እናንተ በቅጣት ተጋሪዎች መኾናችሁ አይጠቅማችሁም ፤ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

believers , when you meet an army stand firm and remember allah abundantly , in order that you are prosperous .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ሰራዊትን በገጠማችሁ ጊዜ እርጉ ፤ ( መክቱ ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም በብዙ አውሱ ፤ በእርግጥ ትድናላችሁና ፡ ፡

and i am not about to dismiss those who believed ; they will surely meet their lord . and i see that you are ignorant people . ”
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በርሱ ( በተላክሁበት ማድረስ ) ላይ ገንዘብን አልጠይቃችሁም ፡ ፡ ምንዳዬ በአላህ ላይ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኔም እነዚያን ያመኑትን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ጌታቸውን የሚገናኙ ናቸውና ፡ ፡ ግን እኔም የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ »

" you are but a human being like us and verily , we think that you are one of the liars !
« አንተም ብጤያችን ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለህም ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከውሸታሞች ነህ ብለን እንጠረጥርሃለን ፡ ፡

believers , have fear of allah and seek the means by which you come to him . struggle in his way in order that you are prosperous .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ወደርሱም መቃረቢያን ( መልካም ሥራን ) ፈልጉ ፡ ፡ ትድኑ ዘንድም በእርሱ መንገድ ታገሉ ፡ ፡

and never will it benefit you that day , when you have wronged , that you are [ all ] sharing in the punishment .
ስለ በደላችሁም ዛሬ እናንተ በቅጣት ተጋሪዎች መኾናችሁ አይጠቅማችሁም ፤ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

( it is ) he who made the earth to be a cradle for you and made in it ways for you , in order that you are guided .
( እርሱ ) ያ ምድርን ለእናንተ ምንጣፍ ያደረገላችሁ በርሷም ውስጥ ትምመሩ ዘንድ ለእናንተ መንገዶችን ያደረገላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , remind them , by the grace of your lord , that you are neither a soothsayer or an insane person .
( ሰዎችን ) አስታውስም ፡ ፡ አንተም በጌታህ ጸጋ ምክንያት ጠንቋይም ዕብድም አይደለህም ፡ ፡

and the blind and the seeing are not alike , nor those who believe and do good and the evil-doer ; little is it that you are mindful .
ዕውርና የሚያይ እነዚያም አምነው መልካሞችን የሠሩና መጥፎ ሠሪው አይስተካከሉም ፡ ፡ በጣም ጥቂትን ብቻ ትገሰጻላችሁ ፡ ፡
