and when jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, father, into thy hands i commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
ויקרא ישוע בקול גדול ויאמר אבי בידך אפקיד רוחי ובאמרו זאת נפח נפשו׃

into thine hand i commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, o lord god of truth.
בידך אפקיד רוחי פדיתה אותי יהוה אל אמת׃

and blessed be the most high god, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. and he gave him tithes of all.
וברוך אל עליון אשר מגן צריך בידך ויתן לו מעשר מכל׃

and the lord said unto me, fear him not: for i will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto sihon king of the amorites, which dwelt at heshbon.
ויאמר יהוה אלי אל תירא אתו כי בידך נתתי אתו ואת כל עמו ואת ארצו ועשית לו כאשר עשית לסיחן מלך האמרי אשר יושב בחשבון׃
