do you think most of them can hear or understand? they are like cattle. indeed, they are even more astray.
அல்லது, நிச்சயமாக அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (உம் உபதேசத்தைக்) கேட்கிறார்கள்; அல்லது அறிந்துணர்கிறார்கள் என்று நீர் நினைக்கின்றீரா? அவர்கள் கால்நடைகளைப் போன்றவர்களேயன்றி வேறில்லை (அவற்றை விடவும்) அவர்கள், மிகவும் வழி கெட்டவர்கள்.

and the people of noah before. indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing.
இவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் இருந்த நூஹுவுடைய சமூகத்தாரையும் (அவன் தான் அழித்தான்,) நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் பெரும் அநியாயக் காரர்களாகவும், அட்டூழியம் செய்தவர்களாகவும் இருந்தனர்.

whereupon we sent upon them a fierce wind on inauspicious days that we might make them taste a degrading chastisement in the life of this world. and surely the chastisement of the hereafter is even more degrading. there will be none to help them there.
ஆதலினால், இவ்வுலக வாழ்வில் அவர்கள் இழிவு தரும் வேதனையைச் சுவைக்கும்படிச் செய்ய, கெட்ட நாட்களில் அவர்கள் மீது ஒரு கொடிய புயல் காற்றை அனுப்பினோம் மேலும், மறுமையிலுள்ள வேதனையோ மிகவும் இழிவுள்ளதாகும் அன்றியும் அவர்கள் (எவராலும்) உதவி செய்யப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.

and if you speak aloud - then indeed, he knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden.
(நபியே!) நீர் உரக்கச் சொன்னாலும் நிச்சயமாக அவன் இரகசியத்தையும் (அதை விட) மறைவானதையும் அறிகிறான்.

whether you speak aloud [or in a low voice], he hears all, for he knows your secrets and what is even more hidden.
(நபியே!) நீர் உரக்கச் சொன்னாலும் நிச்சயமாக அவன் இரகசியத்தையும் (அதை விட) மறைவானதையும் அறிகிறான்.

அவர்கள் செய்த (நற்செயல்களுக்கு) மிக அழகானதை அவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் கூலியாகக் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும், அவனுடைய நல்லருளைக் கொண்டு (அவன் கொடுப்பதை) மேலும் அவன் அதிகப்படுத்துவதற்காகவும் (பயபக்தியுடன் இருப்பார்கள்.) மேலும் அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களுக்குக் கணக்கின்றிக் கொடுக்கிறான்.

thus do we requite him who transgresses and does not believe in the signs of your lord (during the life of the world); and surely the punishment of the hereafter is even more terrible and more enduring.
ஆகவே, எவன் தன் இறைவனுடைய வசனங்களின் மேல் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாமல், வரம்பு மீறி நடக்கின்றானோ அவனுக்கு இவ்வாறுதான் நாம் கூலி கொடுப்போம்; மேலும் மறுமையின் வேதனை மிகவும் கடினமானதும் நிலையானதுமாகும்.

and answers the prayers of those who believe and do good deeds and bestows upon them even more out of his bounty. as for those who deny (the truth), a grievous chastisement awaits them.
அன்றியும் ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான (நல்ல) அமல் செய்பவர்(களின் பிரார்த்தனை)களையும் ஏற்று அவர்களுக்குத் தன் அருளை அதிகப்படுத்துகிறான்; இன்னும், நிராகரிப்பவர்களுக்கு கடுமையான வேதனையுண்டு.
