என் பழைய நினைவுகளை மிஸ் செய்வேன்

"பூமியில் நீங்கள் சுற்றித் திரிந்து (உங்களுக்கு) முன்னிருந்தவர்களின் முடிவு என்ன ஆயிற்று என்பதை நீங்கள் கவனித்துப் பாருங்கள்? அவர்கள் பெரும்பாலோர் முஷ்ரிக்குகளாக (இணை வைப்பவர்களாக) இருந்தனர்" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.

and certainly we have explained in this quran every kind of example, and man is most of all given to contention.
இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக நாம் இந்த குர்ஆனில் ஒவ்வோர் உதாரணத்தையும் மனிதர்களுக்காக விளக்கியுள்ளோம். எனினும் மனிதன் அதிகமாகத் தர்க்கம் செய்பவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

but most of them follow nothing but fancy: truly fancy can be of no avail against truth. verily allah is well aware of all that they do.
ஆனால், அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (ஆதாரமற்ற) யூகங்களையேயன்றி (வேறெதையும்) பின்பற்றவில்லை; நிச்சயமாக (இத்தகைய ஆதாரமற்ற) யூகங்கள் சத்தியத்திற்கு எதிராக எந்த ஒரு பயனும் தர இயலாது. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் செய்பவற்றையெல்லாம் நன்கு அறிபவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

say (o muhammad, to the disbelievers): travel in the land, and see the nature of the consequence for those who were before you! most of them were idolaters.
