ወንዶች በሴቶች ላይ ቋሚዎች ( አሳዳሪዎች ) ናቸው ፡ ፡ አላህ ከፊላቸውን በከፊሉ ላይ በማብለጡና ( ወንዶች ) ከገንዘቦቻቸው ( ለሴቶች ) በመስጠታቸው ነው ፡ ፡ መልካሞቹም ሴቶች ( ለባሎቻቸው ) ታዛዦች አላህ ባስጠበቀው ነገር ሩቅን ጠባቂዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያንም ማመጸቸውን የምትፈሩትን ገስጹዋቸው ፡ ፡ በመኝታዎችም ተለዩዋቸው ፡ ፡ ( ሳካ ሳታደርሱ ) ምቱዋቸውም ፡ ፡ ቢታዘዟችሁም ( ለመጨቆን ) በእነርሱ ላይ መንገድን አትፈልጉ ፤ አላህ የበላይ ታላቅ ነውና ፡ ፡

but none of these things move me, neither count i my life dear unto myself, so that i might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which i have received of the lord jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of god.

decorated for people are the desires of women , offspring , and of heaped up piles of gold and silver , of pedigree horses , cattle , and sown fields . these are the enjoyments of the worldly life , but with allah is the best return .
ከሴቶች ፣ ከወንዶች ልጆችም ፣ ከወርቅና ከብር ፣ ከተካመቹ ገንዘቦችም ፣ ከተሰማሩ ፈረሶችም ፣ ከግመል ከከብትና ከፍየልም ፣ ከአዝመራም የኾኑ ፍላጎቶችን መውደድ ለሰዎች ተሸለመ ፡ ፡ ይህ ሁሉ የቅርቢቱ ሕይወት መጠቀሚያ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም እርሱ ዘንድ መልካም መመለሻ ( ገነት ) አለ ፡ ፡

and command the muslim women to keep their gaze low and to protect their chastity , and not to reveal their adornment except what is apparent , and to keep the cover wrapped over their bosoms ; and not to reveal their adornment except to their own husbands or fathers or husbands fathers ’ , or their sons or their husbands sons ’ , or their brothers or their brothers sons ’ or sisters sons ’ , or women of their religion , or the bondwomen they possess , or male servants provided they do not have manliness , or such children who do not know of women s nakedness ’ , and not to stamp their feet on the ground in order that their hidden adornment be known ; and o muslims , all of you turn in repentance together towards allah , in the hope of attaining success . ( it is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly . )
ለምእምናትም ንገራቸው ፡ - ዓይኖቻቸውን ይከልክሉ ፡ ፡ ብልቶቻቸውንም ይጠብቁ ፡ ፡ ጌጣቸውንም ከእርሷ ግልጽ ከኾነው በስተቀር አይግለጡ ፡ ፡ ጉፍታዎቻቸውንም በአንገትጌዎቻቸው ላይ ያጣፉ ፡ ፡ ( የውስጥ ) ጌጣቸውንም ለባሎቻቸው ወይም ለአባቶቻቸው ወይም ለባሎቻቸው አባቶች ወይም ለወንዶች ልጆቻቸው ወይም ለባሎቻቸው ወንዶች ልጆች ወይም ለወንድሞቻቸው ወይም ለወንድሞቻቸው ወንዶች ልጆች ወይም ለእህቶቻቸው ወንዶች ልጆች ወይም ለሴቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው ለያዙት ( ባሪያ ) ወይም ከወንዶች ለሴት ጉዳይ የሌላቸው ለኾኑ ተከታዮች ወይም ለነዚያ በሴቶች ሐፍረተ ገላ ላይ ላላወቁ ሕፃኖች ካልኾነ በስተቀር አይግለጹ ፡ ፡ ከጌጣቸውም የሚሸፍኑት ይታወቅ ዘንድ በእግሮቻቸው አይምቱ ፡ ፡ ምእመናኖች ሆይ ! ትድኑ ዘንድ ሁላችሁም ወደ አላህ ( በመመለስ ) ተጸጸቱ ፡ ፡
