no people can outstrip the term for its destruction nor can it delay it .
ማንኛይቱም ሕዝብ ጊዜዋን ምንም አትቀድምም ፡ ፡ ( ከእርሱ ) አይቆዩምም ፡ ፡

then he will be fully repaid for it ?
ከዚያም ሙሉውን ምንዳ ይመነዳዋል ፡ ፡

and inspired it ( with conscience of ) what is wrong for it and ( what is ) right for it .
አመጽዋንና ፍርሃትዋንም ባሳወቃት ( አምላክ እምላለሁ ) ፡ ፡

for it is he who heareth and knoweth all things .
እነሆ እርሱ ሰሚው ዐዋቂው ነውና ፡ ፡

and in the end he will be repaid for it in full ;
ከዚያም ሙሉውን ምንዳ ይመነዳዋል ፡ ፡

even so we make a way for it in the hearts of the culprits .
እንደዚሁ ( ማስተባበልን ) በአመጸኞቹ ልቦች ውስጥ እናገባዋለን ፡ ፡

and afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment ;
ከዚያም ሙሉውን ምንዳ ይመነዳዋል ፡ ፡

and every dwelling that we destroyed , had a known decree for it .
ማንኛይቱንም ከተማ ለእርሷ የተወሰነ መጽሐፍ ( ጊዜያት ) ያላት ኾና እንጂ አላጠፋንም ፡ ፡

and never did we destroy a township but there was a known decree for it .
ማንኛይቱንም ከተማ ለእርሷ የተወሰነ መጽሐፍ ( ጊዜያት ) ያላት ኾና እንጂ አላጠፋንም ፡ ፡

and the sky will be split open — for it will be frail on that day —
ሰማይም ትቀደዳለች ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ እርሷ በዚያ ቀን ደካማ ናት ፡ ፡

and seek help in patience and prayer . for it is heavy , except to the humble ,
በመታገስና በሶላትም ተረዱ ፡ ፡ እርሷም ( ሶላት ) በፈሪዎች ላይ እንጅ በሌላው ላይ በእርግጥ ከባድ ናት ፡ ፡

and those who brought this truth and those who testify for it – these are the pious .
ያም በእውነት የመጣው በእርሱ ያመነውም እነዚያ እነርሱ አላህን ፊሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

( viii ) do not even approach fornication for it is an outrageous act , and an evil way .
ዝሙትንም አትቅረቡ ፡ ፡ እርሱ በእርግጥ መጥፎ ሥራ ነውና ፡ ፡ መንገድነቱም ከፋ !

believe it that they will never wish for it , for ( they are fully aware of the consequences of ) what they have sent before them for the hereafter . and allah knows well the mentality of the transgressors .
እጆቻቸውም ባሳለፉት ( በሠሩት ) ምክንያት ምን ጊዜም ፈጽሞ አይመኙትም ፤ አላህም በዳዮችን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and they will by no means ever wish for it , because of that which their hands have sent on before ; and allah is the knower of the wrong-doers .
እጆቻቸውም ባሳለፉት ( በሠሩት ) ምክንያት ምን ጊዜም ፈጽሞ አይመኙትም ፤ አላህም በዳዮችን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

by no means ( should it be so ) ! for it is indeed a message of instruction :
ተከልከል ፡ ፡ እርሷ ማስገንዘቢያ ናት ፡ ፡

every soul will be ( held ) in pledge for its deeds .
ነፍስ ሁሉ በሠራችው ሥራ ተያዥ ናት ፡ ፡

that god may recompense every soul for its earnings ; surely god is swift at the reckoning .
አላህ ነፍስን ሁሉ የሠራችውን ይመነዳ ዘንድ ( ይህንን አደረገ ) ፡ ፡ አላህ ምርመራው ፈጣን ነው ፡ ፡

the hour is coming ; i would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours .
« ሰዓቲቱ በእርግጥ መጪናት ፡ ፡ ልደብቃት እቃረባለሁ ፡ ፡ ነፍስ ሁሉ በምትሠራው ነገር ትመነዳ ዘንድ ( መጭ ናት ) ፡ ፡

a treacherous person will be brought before god on the day of judgment with his treacherous deeds . then every soul will be recompensed for its works without being wronged .
ለነቢይም ሰለባን መደበቅ አይገባውም ፡ ፡ ሰለባንም የሚደብቅ ሰው በትንሣኤ ቀን በደበቀው ነገር ( ተሸክሞ ) ይመጣል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ነፍስ ሁሉ የሥራዋን ዋጋ ትሞላለች ፡ ፡ እነርሱም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡
