« ጸሎታችሁ ባልነበረ ኖሮ ጌታዬ እናንተን ከምንም አይቆጥራችሁም ነበር ፡ ፡ በእርግጥም አስተባበላችሁ ፤ ወደ ፊትም ( ቅጣቱ ) ያዣችሁ ይኾናል » በላቸው ፡ ፡

because of some of your bad deeds , those of you who ran away , when you faced the enemy , were misled by satan . god forgave you for he is all-forgiving and forbearing . "
እነዚያ ሁለቱ ጭፍሮች በተገናኙ ቀን ከእናንተ የሸሹት ሰዎች በዚያ በሠሩት ከፊል ምክንያት ያሳሳታቸው ሰይጣን ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከነሱ በእርግጥ ይቅር አለ ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ በቅጣት የማይቸኩል ነውና ፡ ፡

allah forbids you only from those who fought against you because of religion or drove you out from your homes or helped others to drive you out , that you should befriend them ; and whoever befriends them – it is they who are the unjust .
አላህ የሚከለክላችሁ ከእነዚያ በሃይማኖት ከተጋደሉዋችሁ ፣ ከቤቶቻችሁም ካወጡዋችሁ ፣ እናንተም በማውጣት ላይ ከረዱት ( ከሓዲዎች ) እንዳትወዳጁዋቸው ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ወዳጅ የሚያደርጓቸውም ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ በዳዮቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡

( saying ) : ' we feed you only desirous of the face of allah ; we seek of you neither recompense nor thanks ,
« የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም ፡ ፡

wherever you might be , death will overtake you even though you be in massive towers . and when some good happens to them , they say : ' this is from allah ' ; whereas when some misfortune befalls them , they say : ' this is because of you ' .
« የትም ስፍራ ብትኾኑ በጠነከሩ ሕንጻዎች ውስጥ ብትኾኑም እንኳ ሞት ያገኛችኋል ፡ ፡ ደግም ነገር ብታገኛቸው ይህች ከአላህ ዘንድ ናት » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ መከራም ብታገኛቸው « ይህቺ ከአንተ ዘንድ ናት » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ « ሁሉም ( ደጉም ክፉውም ) ከአላህ ዘንድ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነዚህም ሰዎች ንግግርን ሊረዱ የማይቀርቡት ምን አላቸው

( muhammad ) , say to the people of the book , " do you take revenge on us because of our belief in god and what he has revealed to us and to others before us ? most of you are evil-doers " .
« የመጽሐፉ ባለቤቶች ሆይ ! በአላህና ወደኛ በተወረደው በፊትም በተወረደው ለማመናችን አብዛኞቻችሁም አመጸኞች ለመኾናችሁ እንጅ ( ሌላን ነገር ) ከኛ ትጠላላችሁን » በላቸው ፡ ፡
