ጌታህንም አክብር ፡ ፡

and thine raiment purify .
ልብስህንም አጥራ ፡ ፡

and unto thine lord , attend .
ወደ ጌታህም ብቻ ከጅል ፡ ፡

verily the grip of thine lord is severe .
የጌታህ በኀይል መያዝ ብርቱ ነው ፡ ፡

thee do we worship , and thine aid we seek .
አንተን ብቻ እንግገዛለን ፤ አንተንም ብቻ እርዳታን እንለምናለን ፡ ፡

hallow thou the name of thine lord , the most high ,
ከሁሉ በላይ የኾነውን ጌታህን ስም አሞግሥ ፡ ፡

and verily thine shall be a hire unending . "
ላንተም ( ከጌታህ ) የማይቋረጥ ዋጋ በእርግጥ አልለህ ፡ ፡

verily the torment of thine lord is sure to befalls
የጌታህ ቅጣት በእርግጥ ወዳቂ ነው ፤ ( የማይቀር ነው ) ፡ ፡

and lo ! thine verily will be a reward unfailing .
ላንተም ( ከጌታህ ) የማይቋረጥ ዋጋ በእርግጥ አልለህ ፡ ፡

and as to the favour of thine lord discourse thou thereof .
በጌታህም ጸጋ አውራ ፤ ( ግለጻት ) ፡ ፡

but thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
አንተ ግን ስትጦም፥ በስውር ላለው አባትህ እንጂ እንደ ጦመኛ ለሰዎች እንዳትታይ ራስህን ተቀባ ፊትህንም ታጠብ፤ በስውር የሚያይ አባትህም በግልጥ ይከፍልሃል።

blest be the name of thine lord , owner of majesty and beneficence !
የግርማና የመክበር ባለቤት የኾነው ጌታህ ስም ተባረከ ፡ ፡

hallowed be thine lord , the lord of majesty , from that which they ascribe !
የማሸነፍ ጌታ የሆነው ጌታህ ከሚሉት ሁሉ ጠራ ፡ ፡

and there will remain the countenance of thine lord , owner of majesty and beneficence .
የልቅናና የልግሥና ባለቤት የኾነው የጌታህ ፊትም ይቀራል ፡ ፡ ( አይጠፋም ) ፡ ፡

so , if they turn their backs , thine it is only to deliver the manifest message .
( ከኢስላም ) ቢሸሹም ባንተ ላይ ያለብህ ግልጽ ማድረስ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

they said : " by allah ! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind . "
« በአላህ እንምላለን ፡ ፡ አንተ በእርግጥ በቀድሞው ስህተትህ ውስጥ ነህ » አሉት ፡ ፡

they said : even so saith thine lords verily he ! he is the wise , the knower .
እንደዚህ ጌታሽ ብሏል ፡ ፡ « እነሆ እርሱ ጥበባ ዐዋቂ ነውና » አሏት ፡ ፡

allah hath accursed him . and he said : surely shall take of thine bondmen a portion allotted .
« አላህ የረገመውን ከባሮችህም የተወሰነን ድርሻ በእርግጥ እይዛለሁ » ያለውን ( ሰይጣን እንጅ ሌላን አይከተሉም ) ፡ ፡

( those around him ) said : by allah , lo ! thou art in thine old aberration .
« በአላህ እንምላለን ፡ ፡ አንተ በእርግጥ በቀድሞው ስህተትህ ውስጥ ነህ » አሉት ፡ ፡

and even scals we appointed unto every prophet an enemy from among the culprits . and thine lord sufficeth as guide and helper .
እንደዚሁም ለነቢዩ ሁሉ ከአመጸኞች የኾነ ጠላትን አድርገናል ፡ ፡ መሪና ረዳትም በጌታህ በቃ ፡ ፡
