Արդ, նրանց ժողովարանում մի մարդ կար՝ պիղծ ոգուց բռնուած, որն աղաղակեց եւ ասաց.

but when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
Երբ նրանք տեսան, որ քայլում է ծովի վրայ, կարծեցին, թէ մի ուրուական է, եւ աղաղակ բարձրացրին,

Եւ մանուկը աճում ու զօրանում էր հոգով եւ մնում էր ամայի տեղերում՝ մինչեւ Իսրայէլում նրա երեւալու օրը:

Երբ Յիսուս տեսաւ, որ նա լալիս է, եւ նրա հետ եղող հրեաներն էլ լալիս են, սաստիկ խռովուեց իր հոգում եւ ասաց.

and moses spake so unto the children of israel: but they hearkened not unto moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
Մովսէսը այս բանը հաղորդեց իսրայէլացիներին, բայց նրանք չլսեցին նրան վհատութեան եւ տաժանակիր աշխատանքի պատճառով:

and when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, it is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
Երբ աշակերտները նրան տեսան ծովի վրայ քայլելիս, տագնապահար եղան եւ ասացին. «Ինչ-որ ուրուական է». ու սարսափից աղաղակեցին:

but the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth: for the father seeketh such to worship him.
Բայց կը գայ ժամանակը, եւ արդէն իսկ եկել է, երբ ճշմարիտ երկրպագուները կ՚երկրպագեն Հօրը հոգով եւ ճշմարտութեամբ, քանի որ Հայրն էլ իրեն այդպիսի երկրպագուներ է ուզում:

and he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily i say unto you, there shall no sign be given unto this generation.
Եւ նա իր հոգում զայրացաւ եւ ասաց. «Ինչո՞ւ է այս սերունդը նշան ուզում. ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, որ այս սերնդին նշան չի տրուի»:

and he shall go before him in the spirit and power of elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the lord.
Նա Եղիայի հոգով եւ զօրութեամբ պիտի գնայ նրա առաջից, որպէսզի հայրերի սրտերը որդիներին դարձնի ու անհնազանդներին՝ արդարների իմաստութեանը՝ Տիրոջ համար պատրաստ մի ժողովուրդ կազմելու»:

and certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, mary called magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
եւ մի քանի կանայք, որոնք բժշկուել էին չար ոգիներից ու հիւանդութիւններից. Մարիամը, որ կոչւում էր Մագդաղենացի, եւ որից եօթը դեւ էր դուրս եկել,

and in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
Եւ նոյն ժամին նա շատերին բժշկեց հիւանդութիւններից, ցաւերի հարուածներից, չար ոգիներից եւ բազմաթիւ կոյրերի տեսողութիւն շնորհեց:

and they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, what thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
Եւ ամէնքը զարմացան, այնպէս որ հարցնում էին իրար եւ ասում. «Այս ի՞նչ նոր վարդապետութիւն է, որ իշխանութեամբ պիղծ ոգիներին էլ է սաստում, եւ նրանք հնազանդւում են նրան»:
