اور اگر اصحاب یمین میں سے ہے

اور اگر جھٹلانے والوں اور گمراہوں میں سے ہے

اور اگر آسمان سے کوئی ٹکڑا گرتا دیکھیں تو کہیں گے تہ بہ تہ بادل ہے

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر تم سچے ہو تو (بتاؤ) یہ (عذابِ آخرت کا) وعدہ کب پورا ہوگا،

اور تم سے دریافت کرتے ہیں کہ آیا یہ سچ ہے۔ کہہ دو ہاں خدا کی قسم سچ ہے اور تم (بھاگ کر خدا کو) عاجز نہیں کرسکو گے

(so obstinate are they that) even if they were to see some fragments of the sky falling down they would still say: “it is only a mass of cloud.”
اور اگر آسمان سے کوئی ٹکڑا گرتا دیکھیں تو کہیں گے تہ بہ تہ بادل ہے

recall when moses said to his servant, “i will not give up until i reach the junction of the two rivers, even if it takes me years.”
(ذرا اِن کو وہ قصہ سناؤ جو موسیٰؑ کو پیش آیا تھا) جبکہ موسیٰؑ نے اپنے خادم سے کہا تھا کہ "میں اپنا سفر ختم نہ کروں گا جب تک کہ دونوں دریاؤں کے سنگم پر نہ پہنچ جاؤں، ورنہ میں ایک زمانہ دراز تک چلتا ہی رہوں گا"

اور جب ان سے کہا جائے اس کی پیروی کرو جو اللہ نے اتارا تو کہتے ہیں بلکہ ہم تو اس کی پیروی کریں گے جس پر ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کوپایا کیا اگرچہ شیطان ان کو عذاب دوزخ کی طرف بلاتا ہو

when they are told to follow the (revelation) that allah has sent down, they say: "nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following). "what! even if it is satan beckoning them to the penalty of the (blazing) fire?
اور جب ان سے کہا جائے اس کی پیروی کرو جو اللہ نے اتارا تو کہتے ہیں بلکہ ہم تو اس کی پیروی کریں گے جس پر ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کوپایا کیا اگرچہ شیطان ان کو عذاب دوزخ کی طرف بلاتا ہو
