(அவர்கள்) கொடிய அனல் காற்றிலும், கொதிக்கும் நீரிலும் -

அவன் தான் பெரும் நெருப்பில் புகுவான்.

அவன் நரகத்தில் புகுவான்.

hell, where they will roast in the fire? and what an evil repository!
(அந்த அழிவு வீடான) நரகத்தை அவர்கள் வந்தடைவார்கள் - இன்னும், அது தங்கும் இடங்களில் மிகவும் கெட்டதாகும்.

(they will be) in the midst of a fierce blast of fire and in boiling water,
(அவர்கள்) கொடிய அனல் காற்றிலும், கொதிக்கும் நீரிலும் -

[it is] he who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.
"பசுமையான மரத்திலிருந்து உங்களுக்காக நெருப்பை உண்டாக்குபவனும் அவனே அதிலிருந்தே நீங்கள் (தீ) மூட்டுகிறீர்கள்.

against you shall be loosed a flame of fire, and molten brass; and you shall not be helped.
(மறுமையில்) உங்களிருசாரார் மீதும், நெருப்பின் ஜீவாலையும், புகையும் அனுப்பப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் (இரு சாராரும், எவரிடமிருந்தும்) உதவி பெற்றுக் கொள்ள மாட்டீர்கள்.

and we appointed them leaders, calling to the fire; and on the day of resurrection they shall not be helped;
மேலும், (மக்களை நரக) நெருப்பிற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும் தலைவர்களாகவே நாம் அவர்களை ஆக்கியிருந்தோம்; இன்னும், கியாம நாளன்று அவர்கள் உதவி செய்யப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

and we made them (but) leaders inviting to the fire; and on the day of judgment no help shall they find.
மேலும், (மக்களை நரக) நெருப்பிற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும் தலைவர்களாகவே நாம் அவர்களை ஆக்கியிருந்தோம்; இன்னும், கியாம நாளன்று அவர்கள் உதவி செய்யப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

and whosoever doth that in transgression- and wrong, presently we shall roast him in fire; and with allah that is ever easy.
எவரேனும் (அல்லாஹ்வின்) வரம்பை மீறி அநியாயமாக இவ்வாறு செய்தால், விரைவாகவே அவரை நாம் (நரக) நெருப்பில் நுழையச் செய்வோம்;. அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இது சுலபமானதேயாகும்.

(if you so venture) a flame of fire and smoke shall be lashed at you, which you shall be unable to withstand.
(மறுமையில்) உங்களிருசாரார் மீதும், நெருப்பின் ஜீவாலையும், புகையும் அனுப்பப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் (இரு சாராரும், எவரிடமிருந்தும்) உதவி பெற்றுக் கொள்ள மாட்டீர்கள்.

there will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves.
(மறுமையில்) உங்களிருசாரார் மீதும், நெருப்பின் ஜீவாலையும், புகையும் அனுப்பப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் (இரு சாராரும், எவரிடமிருந்தும்) உதவி பெற்றுக் கொள்ள மாட்டீர்கள்.

above them they shall have layers of fire and beneath them layers. by this allah puts fear into his worshipers' 'o my worshipers, fear me'
(மறுமை நாளில்) இவர்களுக்கு மேலே நெருப்பிலான தட்டுகளும், இவர்களின் கீழும் (நெருப்பிலான) தட்டுகளும் இருக்கும்; இவ்வாறு அதைக்கொண்டு அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களை அச்சமூட்டுகிறான்; "என் அடியார்களே! என்னிடம் நீங்கள் பயபக்தியுடன் இருங்கள்."

he (satan) replied: 'i am better than he. you created me from fire, and you created him from clay'
"நானே அவரைவிட மேலானவன்; (ஏனெனில்) என்னை நீ நெருப்பிலிருந்து படைத்தாய்; ஆனால் அவரையோ நீ களிமண்ணிலிருந்து படைத்தாய்" என்று (இப்லீஸ்) கூறினான்.

(iblis) said: "i am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay."
"நானே அவரைவிட மேலானவன்; (ஏனெனில்) என்னை நீ நெருப்பிலிருந்து படைத்தாய்; ஆனால் அவரையோ நீ களிமண்ணிலிருந்து படைத்தாய்" என்று (இப்லீஸ்) கூறினான்.

"what prevented you" (said god), "from bowing (before adam) at my bidding?" "i am better than him," said he. "you created me from fire, and him from clay."
"நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட போது, நீ ஸஜ்தா செய்யாதிருக்க உன்னைத் தடுத்தது யாது?" என்று அல்லாஹ் கேட்டான்; "நான் அவரை (ஆதமை)விட மேலானவன் - என்னை நீ நெருப்பினால் படைத்தாய், அவரை களிமண்ணால் படைத்தாய்" என்று (இப்லீஸ் பதில்) கூறினான்.
