Fuel is a substance which is used to produce heat energy through chemical reaction. There is no machine which can works without it today. All are depend on this to run anything from a small home to a large industries. Even from a small screw to a big generator there is a need of it. But today, our India is facing a severe fuel crisis. In our day to day life, it became basic need of us. Due to it's lack, most countries have to import fuel to meet their needs by spending high amount today. We can say this by seeing the nearest petrol bunks. If we saw them, we can find long queues of vehicles because there was no fuel to tank up on. It's our time to face the problem of fuel need. How panic it is? What about our future generations? Their life conditions might be so difficult without these fuel. They have to work hard to do even a small work also. They have to suffer a lot. If it continues like this, there will be no industries which are going to be run in future. Such that we can't get any material even a small thing also because the things which we are using most today like plastic, paraffin wax, computers, cars, pharmaceuticals, etc are getting from the industries only on which fuel is the basic need to get all these. Fuels like petrol and diesel are also not clean fuels. They cause pollution and increase Carbon dioxide emissions. So we have to stop using fuel highly which is responsible for causing Global Warming. It's really makes our life tough if we still continue the usage of fuel in large amounts. In order to avoid this, We have to bring awareness on people.We have to turn of our vehicles at traffic. We have to encourage car pooling and have to minimise the usage of applying brakes.

Mahatma Gandhi had rightly said, “Sanitation is more important than Independence”. He was aware of the pathetic situation of Indian rural people at that time and he dreamt of a clean India where he emphasised on cleanliness and sanitation as an integral part of living. Unfortunately, we have completed 67 years of independence and we have only about 30%[ERROR] of the rural households with access to toilets. President Pranab Mukherjee in his address to Parliament in June 2014, said, “For ensuring hygiene, waste management and sanitation across the nation a “Swachh Bharat Mission” will be launched. This will be our tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary to be celebrated in the year 2019”. The Narendra Modi Government will soon launch the “Swachh Bharat” movement to solve the sanitation problem in India, to solve the problem of waste management and make India a clean country, ensuring hygiene all across the country. Emphasising “Clean India” on August 15, 2014 in his Independence day speech, the Prime Minister said that this movement is associated with the economic activity of the country. This mission for creating a clean India will be launched on October 2, 2014, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with the target of completing the mission in 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of the father of the nation. The basic objective behind Swachh Bharat Mission is to create sanitation facilities for all and eliminate completely the unhealthy practice of responding to the nature’s call in the open. It aims to provide every rural family with a toilet by 2019. First cleanliness drive starts on September 25 According to a statement by the PMO, all offices up to panchayat level will participate in a cleanliness drive that shall be carried out from September 25 till Diwali on October 23. As a part of the awareness campaign, the Delhi Government plans to cover more than 8 lakh ration card holders by sending sms to their mobile numbers. What is Modi’s opinion? Modi has directly linked the Clean India movement with the economic activity of the nation. This mission, according to him, can contribute to GDP growth, provide a source of employment and reduce health costs, thereby connecting to an economic activity. Cleanliness is no doubt connected to the tourism and global interests of the country as a whole. India is already a known hub in the world tourist map. It is high time now that India’s top 50 tourist destinations display high class levels of hygiene and cleanliness so as to change the nation’s global perception. Clean India can bring in more tourists, thereby increasing the revenue. He has appealed to the people to devote 100 hours every year to cleanliness. Not only the sanitation programme, Modi also laid emphasis on solid waste management and waste water management. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Rural Development, Drinking Water & Sanitation, said that solid and liquid waste management activities using scientifically proved advanced techniques will be launched in each gram panchayat. Narendra Modi has also directed that separate toilets for boys and girls should be provided in every school in the country by August 15, 2015. Objectives of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan The details of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is under development presently. But the following principles will be included: Construction of individual, cluster and community toilets. To eliminate or reduce open defecation. Open defecation is one of the main causes of deaths of thousands of children each year. Not only latrine construction, the Swachh Bharat Mission will also make an initiative of establishing an accountable mechanism of monitoring latrine use. Public awareness will also be provided about the drawbacks of open defecation and promotion of latrine use. Proper, dedicated ground staff will be recruited to bring about behavioural change and promotion of latrine use. For proper sanitation use, the mission will aim at changing people’s attitudes, mindsets and behaviours. To keep villages clean. Solid and liquid waste management through gram panchayats. To lay water pipelines in all villages, ensuring water supply to all households by 2019. Let’s make Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a success The PM has rightly asserted that Swachh Bharat Abhiyan should be a combined effort of both the Government as well as the people. We hope that the Swachh Bharat Mission does not become another Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan started by the previous Government in 1999 with the same mission but was not a success. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan should not be a mere re-branding exercise. There is no doubt about the fact that change begins at home. Every citizen of the country should be clean and have hygiene and think of progress rather than waiting for the Government to make this plan successful. Let us also hope that we can change the minds of the people and focus on the real issues and not just constructing toilets. Let us all pledge to make this mission a success…

Old and elderly people are respected. Proper care is taken for old, widowed, physically weak and disabled family members. As such the disciplines in a joint family are self-imposed on its members. The head of the big family almost becomes its patriarch. The family prospers squarely if the patriarch and the other constituents observe the norms soundly and healthily. Finally, the spirit of oneness prevails in a Joint family system.

My suggestion is that if we want to bring changes to the society then first we have to get rid of the cast system and dowry system in India as this is only practiced in India. It clearly shows the bad image of India to the world in recent times the high number of corruption in government departments in India. Unavailability of basic things such as medicines / water / electricity in India. To tell you the true facts that we in Fiji import almost all the medicines from India because it is the cheapest in the world and also for medical treatments our first priority is India even though countries like Australia and New Zealand are our close neighbours but things are very expensive there. I just cannot image that, if we in Fiji can get these medicines from India at a cheap price in our country then why the ordinary citizens of India cannot get these medicines at a reasonable price in India as it is manufactured there. Last time I wrote on this forum was few months back - on the day to defend your stand on intolerance. I must have written 10+ messages that day, if I remember correctly. :-) I, infact, We need your help. I have been part of HSPA ( Hyderabad School Parents Association ) and among all states, Hyderabad private school education is on top - in terms of greed and arbitrary and absolutely unjustified fee hike year after in private schools. We are fighting tooth and nail and trying to put pressure on schools and Govt and asking parents to join us. Our efforts are making a difference, but not much that we want to be. Ministers in Hyderabad love private schools more than public and they love to inaugurate new schools opening every now and then. I am sure lots of monies are exchanging hand when they show up for a new school branch opening. We have decided to take Govt. head on. We have filed PIL ( Public interest litigation ) on Govt of Telengana for their inaction to curb "indecent" school fee hike and hope to put huge pressure on govt to ACT and listen to our woes. Bhopal parents association also did that recently. I have heard many other states this prt. school menace is making life hell for parents and causing them so much of financial burden. Infact recent movie of Juhi chawla also highlighted this issue. We need some help from you - you being social conscience person. 1. A movie which highlight the huge profitability of schools - to spread awareness. If you say, the whole world listens. You have given master pieces before - shaken up beliefs and am sure in that position - we would love to make you hit this huge problem head on with a relevant movie on the subject. 2. Our High Court case against Govt, needs fund. We HSPA members are contributing and asking many of our contacts and other parents to join. Can you please donate too? My birth mother is in Delhi she is 75 and has given the impression to all he neighbours that none of her children ever come to visit her or look after her. But this due to her own doing. She manipulated, physically and mentally abused us as children. Systematically, one by one. She played us against each other and we had to forgive everything because she was a MOTHER. Till date she has to win every argument, and knows how to play the victim in full glory. She's been to school only till the 5th but she is smarter than all of us put together. Why aren't children considered equal citizens with equal rights when it comes to parents? Why do we turn a blind eye when we see someone beating their children mercilessly even in streets? How can it be good for their own sake? My and my sibling's childhood and teenage years has been ruined because we had to be sacrificed for her ego. What is sun stroke? Sun stroke is, for all intents and purposes, a form of heat stroke (the most serious of heat injuries) which is exacerbated by overindulgent sun exposure. Heat stroke is generally triggered one of two ways: One. Exposure to a hot environment (e.g. through direct sun exposure); and Two. “Exertion-induced heat stroke” generally caused by overexertion during exercise. If you’ve ever arrived home after a day of sun-soaked folly with signs and symptoms reminiscent of a mild hangover, you may have suffered a form of heat “exhaustion”. Heat exhaustion can cause fatigue and rapidly lead to heat stroke if it goes untreated, especially if it occurs while you’re still out and about in the sun. With 2013 already shaping up to be one of the hottest years on record in Australia, it’s important to be aware of the signs and symptoms of heat/sun stroke and what to do if you experience them this coming Summer. Signs and symptoms of sun stroke If you experience any of the below symptoms or happen to be with a friend who shows similar signs after a day outdoors, you may need to consider treating yourself or them for heat stroke whilst immediately contacting your state ambulance service. Symptoms include: • Red, hot and dry (sweatless) skin • Dizziness and a headache • Nausea and vomiting • Rapid (and often weak) heartbeat • Abrupt behavioural changes • Seizures and unconsciousness Not all of these signs and symptoms are required for the diagnosis of heat stroke as varying severities can develop over time (sometimes days). Whilst some symptoms can be managed, heat stroke is a severe ailment and can lead to brain damage and even death (especially if you’re alone). Preventing sun stroke Like most health issues, prevention is the best cure for sun stroke. If you’re planning on catching some rays anytime soon, make sure you keep at least a few preventative measures in mind. One. pre-hydrate and re-hydrate One of the major causes of sun stroke is dehydration. If you don’t have an adequate capacity for producing sweat (otherwise evaporating to rapidly cool you down) you’ve already lost one of your best physiological defences against sun stroke. Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat a proper breakfast before venturing outdoors on hot days and throw a bottle of H20 in with your towel and sunscreen. If you think that the best cure for a hangover is some UV, try staying indoors and rehydrating instead. Alcohol in your blood makes it near impossible to rehydrate effectively and increases your chances of heat stroke significantly. Two. Slip on something loose to wear As fashionable as tights and skinny jeans were on Winter days, as the temperature climbs make sure to start wearing looser clothing outdoors. Restrictive clothing in extreme heat can be as dangerous as being dehydrated. Evaporation of sweat is entirely dependent on air and airflow. If your sweat is soaking into your jeans or trackies, it’s hardly doing its job. Three. Embrace the shade Sure, your tan isn’t going to develop indoors. But perhaps it’s a more realistic recommendation to encourage regular breaks from direct sun exposure rather than to just reiterate the countless government campaigns promoting the fact that nothing about a deep tan is healthy. For at least the sake of sun stroke prevention, break up your sun exposure as best you can throughout the day (preferably avoiding the hours around midday) and try not to fall asleep at the beach or by the pool. The Room – Story about what Jesus does with our Sins In that place between wakefulness and dreams, I found myself in the room. There were no distinguishing features save for one wall covered with small index card files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and seemingly endlessly in either direction, had very different headings. As I drew near the wall of files, the first to catch my attention was one that read “People I Have Liked.” I opened it and began flipping cards. I quickly shut it, shocked to realize that I recognized the names written on each one. And then without being told, I knew exactly where I was. This lifeless room with its small files was a crude catalog system for my life. Here were written the actions of every moment, big and small, in a detail my memory couldn’t match. A sense of wonder and curiosity, coupled with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening files and exploring their content. Some brought joy and sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching. A file named “Friends” was next to one marked “Friends I have Betrayed.” The titles ranged from the mundane to the outright weird. “Books I Have Read,” “Lies I Have Told,” “Comfort I Have Given,” “Jokes I Have Laughed At.” Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: “Things I’ve Yelled at My Brothers.” Others I couldn’t laugh at: “Things I Have Done in My Anger,” “Things I Have Muttered Under My Breath at My Parents.” I never ceased to be surprised by the contents. Often there were many more cards than I expected. Sometimes fewer than I hoped. I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my short life to write each of these thousands or even millions of cards? But each card confirmed this truth. Each was written in my own handwriting. Each signed with my own signature. When I came to a file marked “Lustful Thoughts,” I felt a chill run through my body. I pulled the file out only an inch, not willing to test its size, and drew out a card. I shuddered at its detailed content. I felt sick to think that such a moment had been recorded. An almost animal rage broke on me. One thought dominated my mind: No one must ever see these cards! No one must ever see this room! I have to destroy them! In an insane frenzy I yanked the file out. Its size didn’t matter now. I had to empty it and burn the cards. But as I took it at one end and began pounding it on the floor, I could not dislodge a single card. I became desperate and pulled out a card, only to find it as strong as steel when I tried to tear it. Defeated and utterly helpless, I returned the file to its slot. Leaning my forehead against the wall, I let out a long, self-pitying sigh. And then I saw it. The title bore “People I Have Shared the Gospel With.” The handle was brighter than those around it, newer, almost unused. I pulled on its handle and a small box not more than 3 inches long fell into my hands. I could count the cards it contained on one hand. And then the tears came. I began to weep. Sobs so deep that the hurt started in my stomach and shook through me. I fell on my knees and cried. I cried out of shame, from the overwhelming shame of it all. The rows of file shelves swirled in my tear-filled eyes. No one must ever, ever know of this room. I must lock it up and hide the key. But then as I pushed away the tears, I saw Him. No, please not Him. Not here. Oh, anyone but Jesus. I watched helplessly as He began to open the files and read the cards. I couldn’t bear to watch His response. And in the moments I could bring myself to look at His face, I saw a sorrow deeper than my own. He seemed to intuitively go to the worst boxes. Why did He have to read every one? Finally He turned and looked at me from across the room. He looked at me with pity in His eyes. But this was a pity that didn’t anger me. I dropped my head, covered my face with my hands and began to cry again. He walked over and put His arm around me. He could have said so many things. But He didn’t say a word. He just cried with me. Then He got up and walked back to the wall of files. Starting at one end of the room, He took out a file and, one by one, began to sign His name over mine on each card. “No!” I shouted rushing to Him. All I could find to say was “No, no,” as I pulled the card from Him. His name shouldn’t be on these cards. But there it was, written in red so rich, so dark, so alive. The name of Jesus covered mine. It was written with His blood. He gently took the card back. He smiled a sad smile and began to sign the cards. I don’t think I’ll ever understand how He did it so quickly, but the next instant it seemed I heard Him close the last file and walk back to my side. He placed His hand on my shoulder and said, “It is finished.” I stood up, and He led me out of the room. There was no lock on its door. There were still cards to be written.
