nahitabo kini sa pagtuman sa gisulti pinaagi sa profeta, nga nag-ingon:
all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

kay maoy atong pag-isip nga ang tawo pagamatarungon pinaagi sa pagtoo, pinagawas sa mga pagtuman sa kasugoan.
therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

aron mabantayan nila ang iyang kabalaoran, ug sa ilang pagtuman sa iyang mga kasugoan. dayegon ninyo si jehova.
that they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. praise ye the lord.

apan ang israel nga nag-agpas sa pagkamatarung nga pinasikad sa kasugoan wala makakab-ot sa pagtuman sa kasugoan.
but israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

kay sa atubangan sa dios walay tawo nga pagamatarungon pinaagi sa mga pagtuman sa kasugoan, kay pinaagi sa kasugoan nagaabut hinoon ang kahibalo mahitungod sa sala.
therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

kong magapatalinghug ka lamang nga masingkamuton sa tingog ni jehova nga imong dios, aron sa pagbantay sa pagtuman niining tibook nga sugo nga akong ginasugo kanimo niining adlawa.
only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the lord thy god, to observe to do all these commandments which i command thee this day.

and if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

kay panahon na nga pagasugdan ang pagtuman sa hukom diha sa balay sa dios; ug kon kini magsugod man kanato, unsa man kahay dangatan sa mga tawo nga wala magtuman sa maayong balita sa dios?
for the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of god: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of god?

sa nahimo na kining maong mga pangandam sa ingon nga paagi, ang mga sacerdote sa kanunay nanagsulod sa tabernaculo nga pangunahan, sa pagtuman sa ilang mga katungdanan sa diosnong pagpang-atiman;
now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of god.
