what ! can you then make the deaf to hear or guide the blind and him who is in clear error ?
አንተ ደንቆሮዎችን ታሰማለህን ? ወይስ ዕውሮችንና በግልጽ ጥመት ውስጥ የኾኑን ሰዎች ትመራለህን ?

but what of him against whom the sentence of punishment is justified ? can you rescue one who is already in the fire ?
በእርሱ ላይ የቅጣት ቃል የተረጋገጠችበትን ሰው ( ትመራዋለህን ? ) አንተ በእሳት ውስጥ ያለን ሰው ታድናለህን ?

but whosoever comes with evil will be flung face forward into the fire . can you expect reward for any thing but what you do ?
በመጥፎም የመጡ ሰዎች ፊቶቻቸው በእሳት ውስጥ ይደፋሉ ፡ ፡ « ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትን እንጅ አትመነዱም » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

whatever you have will end , but what allah has is lasting . and we will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do .
እናንተ ዘንድ ያለው ሁሉ ያልቃል ፡ ፡ አላህ ዘንድ ያለው ግን ( ዘለዓለም ) ቀሪ ነው ፡ ፡ እነዚያንም የታገሱትን ይሠሩት በነበሩት በመልካሙ ምንዳቸውን እንመነዳቸዋለን ፡ ፡

you even argue about what is already known to you . what can you learn from arguing about that which you have no knowledge ?
ንቁ ! እናንተ እነዚያ ለእናንተ በርሱ ዕውቀት ባላችሁ ነገር የተከራከራችሁ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ታዲያ ለእናንተ በርሱ ዕውቀት በሌላችሁ ነገር ለምን ትከራከራላችሁ አላህም ያውቃል ፡ ፡ እናንተ ግን አታውቁም ፡ ፡

what ! as for him then against whom the sentence of chastisement is due : what ! can you save him who is in the fire ?
በእርሱ ላይ የቅጣት ቃል የተረጋገጠችበትን ሰው ( ትመራዋለህን ? ) አንተ በእሳት ውስጥ ያለን ሰው ታድናለህን ?

that which is with you will be spent [ and gone ] , but what is with allah shall last , and we will surely pay the patient their reward by the best of what they used to do .
እናንተ ዘንድ ያለው ሁሉ ያልቃል ፡ ፡ አላህ ዘንድ ያለው ግን ( ዘለዓለም ) ቀሪ ነው ፡ ፡ እነዚያንም የታገሱትን ይሠሩት በነበሩት በመልካሙ ምንዳቸውን እንመነዳቸዋለን ፡ ፡

but what happens when some misfortune visits them because of their own misdeeds ? then , they come to you swearing by allah , saying : ' we wanted nothing but to do good and to bring about conciliation ( between the two parties ) ' .
እጆቻቸውም ባስቀደሙት ( ጥፋት ) መከራ በደረሰችባቸውና ከዚያም « ደግን ሐሳብና ማስማማትን እንጅ ሌላ አልሻንም » በማለት በአላህ የሚምሉ ኾነው በመጡህ ጊዜ እንዴት ይኾናሉ
