this is the interpretation of my dream of old . my lord hath made it true , and he hath shown me kindness , since he took me out of the prison and hath brought you from the desert after satan had made strife between me and my brethren .
ወላጆቹንም በዙፋኑ ላይ አወጣቸው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ሰጋጆች ኾነው ወረዱለት ፡ ፡ « አባቴም ሆይ ! ይህ ፊት ያየኋት ሕልሜ ፍች ነው ፡ ፡ ጌታ በእርግጥ እውነት አደረጋት ፡ ፡ ከወህኒ ቤትም ባወጣኝና ሰይጣንም በእኔና በወንድሞቼ መካከል ከአበላሸ በኋላ እናንተን ከገጠር ባመጣችሁ ጊዜ በእርግጥ ለኔ መልካም ዋለልኝ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ለሚሻው ነገር እዝነቱ ረቂቅ ነው ፡ ፡ እነሆ እሱ ዐዋቂው ጥበበኛው ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

this is the fulfillment of my dream of long ago , which my lord has made come true . he was certainly gracious to me when he brought me out of the prison and brought you over from the desert after that satan had incited ill feeling between me and my brothers .
ወላጆቹንም በዙፋኑ ላይ አወጣቸው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ሰጋጆች ኾነው ወረዱለት ፡ ፡ « አባቴም ሆይ ! ይህ ፊት ያየኋት ሕልሜ ፍች ነው ፡ ፡ ጌታ በእርግጥ እውነት አደረጋት ፡ ፡ ከወህኒ ቤትም ባወጣኝና ሰይጣንም በእኔና በወንድሞቼ መካከል ከአበላሸ በኋላ እናንተን ከገጠር ባመጣችሁ ጊዜ በእርግጥ ለኔ መልካም ዋለልኝ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ለሚሻው ነገር እዝነቱ ረቂቅ ነው ፡ ፡ እነሆ እሱ ዐዋቂው ጥበበኛው ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

" o joseph ! " ( he said ) " o man of truth ! expound to us ( the dream ) of seven fat kine whom seven lean ones devour , and of seven green ears of corn and ( seven ) others withered : that i may return to the people , and that they may understand . "
« አንተ እውነተኛው ዩሱፍ ሆይ ! ሰባትን የሰቡ ላሞች ሰባት ከሲታዎች ላሞች ሲበሉዋቸው ሰባትን ለምለም ዘለላዎችም ሌሎችንም ደረቆች ( በነሱ ላይ ሲጠመጠሙባቸው ያየን ሰው ሕልም ፍች ) ተችልን ፡ ፡ ያውቁ ዘንድ ወደ ሰዎቹ ልመለስ እከጅላለሁና » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡
