and , ' take in thy hand a bundle of rushes , and strike therewith , and do not fail in thy oath . ' surely we found him a steadfast man .
« በእጅህም ጭብጥ አርጩሜን ያዝ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( ሚስትህን ) ምታ ፡ ፡ ማላህንም አታፍርስ » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ታጋሸ ኾኖ አገኘነው ፡ ፡ ምን ያምር ባሪያ እርሱ በጣም መላሳ ነው ፡ ፡

( and we said to him ) : “ take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it , and do not break your oath . ” indeed we found him steadfast .
« በእጅህም ጭብጥ አርጩሜን ያዝ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( ሚስትህን ) ምታ ፡ ፡ ማላህንም አታፍርስ » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ታጋሸ ኾኖ አገኘነው ፡ ፡ ምን ያምር ባሪያ እርሱ በጣም መላሳ ነው ፡ ፡

( we said to him ) : ' take a bundle of rushes and strike with it ; and do not break your oath ' we found him to be patient , a good worshiper and he was penitent .
« በእጅህም ጭብጥ አርጩሜን ያዝ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( ሚስትህን ) ምታ ፡ ፡ ማላህንም አታፍርስ » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ታጋሸ ኾኖ አገኘነው ፡ ፡ ምን ያምር ባሪያ እርሱ በጣም መላሳ ነው ፡ ፡

as if they were jimalatun sufr ( yellow camels or bundles of ropes ) . "
( ቃንቄውም ) ልክ ዳለቻዎች ግመሎችን ይመስላል ፡ ፡

that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
እንደ ስሕተት ሽንገላ ባለ ተንኮል በሰዎችም ማታለል ምክንያት በትምህርት ነፋስ ሁሉ እየተፍገመገምን ወዲያና ወዲህም እየተንሳፈፍን ሕፃናት መሆን ወደ ፊት አይገባንም፥
