then departed barnabas to tarsus, for to seek saul:
በርናባስም ሳውልን ሊፈልግ ወደ ጠርሴስ መጣ፤

and barnabas determined to take with them john, whose surname was mark.
በርናባስም ማርቆስ የተባለውን ዮሐንስን ደግሞ ከእነርሱ ጋር ይወስድ ዘንድ አሰበ፤

or i only and barnabas, have not we power to forbear working?
ወይስ ሥራን ለመተው መብት የሌለን እኔና በርናባስ ብቻ ነን?

which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of barnabas and saul.
እንዲህም ደግሞ አደረጉ፥ በበርናባስና በሳውልም እጅ ወደ ሽማግሌዎቹ ሰደዱት።

then fourteen years after i went up again to jerusalem with barnabas, and took titus with me also.
ከዚያ ወዲያ ከአሥራ አራት ዓመት በኋላ ከበርናባስ ጋር ቲቶን ደግሞ ይዤ ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም ሁለተኛ ወጣሁ፤

paul also and barnabas continued in antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the lord, with many others also.
ጳውሎስና በርናባስም ከሌሎች ከብዙ ሰዎች ጋር ደግሞ የጌታን ቃል እያስተማሩና ወንጌልን እየሰበኩ በአንጾኪያ ይቀመጡ ነበር።

and the other jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
የቀሩትም አይሁድ ደግሞ፥ በርናባስ ስንኳ በግብዝነታቸው እስከ ተሳበ ድረስ፥ ከእርሱ ጋር አብረው ግብዞች ሆኑ።

it seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved barnabas and paul,
ስለ ጌታችን ስለ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ስም ነፍሳቸውን ከሰጡት ከምንወዳቸው ከበርናባስና ከጳውሎስ ጋር የተመረጡትን ሰዎች ወደ እናንተ እንልክ ዘንድ በአንድ ልብ ሆነን ፈቀድን።

and barnabas and saul returned from jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them john, whose surname was mark.
በርናባስና ሳውልም አገልግሎታቸውን ፈጽመው ከኢየሩሳሌም ተመለሱ፥ ማርቆስ የተባለውን ዮሐንስንም ከእነርሱ ጋር ይዘውት መጡ።

then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to barnabas and paul, declaring what miracles and wonders god had wrought among the gentiles by them.
ሕዝቡም ሁሉ ዝም አሉ፥ በርናባስና ጳውሎስም እግዚአብሔር በእጃቸው በአሕዛብ መካከል ያደረገውን ምልክትና ድንቅ ሁሉ ሲተርኩላቸው ይሰሙ ነበር።

which when the apostles, barnabas and paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
ሐዋርያት በርናባስና ጳውሎስ ግን ይህን በሰሙ ጊዜ ልብሳቸውን ቀደው ወደ ሕዝቡ መካከል እየጮኹ ሮጡ፥

and some days after paul said unto barnabas, let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the lord, and see how they do.
ከጥቂት ቀንም በኋላ ጳውሎስ በርናባስን። ተመልሰን የጌታን ቃል በተናገርንበት በየከተማው ሁሉ ወንድሞችን እንጐብኛቸው፥ እንዴት እንዳሉም እንወቅ አለው።

howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with barnabas to derbe.
ደቀ መዛሙርት ግን ከበውት ሳሉ፥ ተነስቶ ወደ ከተማ ገባ። በነገውም ከበርናባስ ጋር ወደ ደርቤን ወጣ።

now when the congregation was broken up, many of the jews and religious proselytes followed paul and barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of god.
ጉባኤውም ከተፈታ በኋላ ከአይሁድና ወደ ይሁዲነት ገብተው ከሚያመልኩ ብዙዎች ጳውሎስንና በርናባስን ተከተሉአቸው፥ እነርሱም ሲነግሩአቸው በእግዚአብሔር ጸጋ ጸንተው እንዲኖሩ አስረዱአቸው።

aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and marcus, sister's son to barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
ከተገረዙት ወገን ያሉት፥ አብሮ ከእኔ ጋር የታሰረ አርስጥሮኮስ የበርናባስም የወንድሙ ልጅ ማርቆስ ኢዮስጦስም የተባለ ኢያሱ ሰላምታ ያቀርቡላችኋል። ስለ ማርቆስ። ወደ እናንተ ቢመጣ፥ ተቀበሉት የሚል ትእዛዝ ተቀበላችሁ። በእግዚአብሔር መንግሥት ከእኔ ጋር አብረው የሚሠሩት እነዚህ ብቻ ናቸው፥ እኔንም አጽናንተውኛል።
