he said , ‘ indeed i detest your conduct . ’
( እርሱም ) አለ « እኔ ሥራችሁን ከሚጠሉት ሰዎች ነኝ ፡ ፡

follow me . i will show you the way of right conduct .
ያም ያመነው አለ « ወገኖቼ ሆይ ! ተከተሉኝ ፡ ፡ ቀጥታውን መንገድ እመራችኋለሁና ፡ ፡

he said : i am in truth of those who hate your conduct .
( እርሱም ) አለ « እኔ ሥራችሁን ከሚጠሉት ሰዎች ነኝ ፡ ፡

but he who patiently endures and forgives , that is a conduct of great resolve .
የታገስና ምሕረት ያደረገም ሰው ይህ ከምርሮቹ ( ከተፈላጊዎቹ ) ነገሮች ነው ፡ ፡

so it tasted the evil consequences of its conduct , and the outcome of its conduct was ruin .
የነገርዋንም ቅጣት ቀመሰች ፡ ፡ የነገርዋም መጨረሻ ከሳራ ኾነ ፡ ፡

then did they taste the evil result of their conduct , and the end of their conduct was perdition .
የነገርዋንም ቅጣት ቀመሰች ፡ ፡ የነገርዋም መጨረሻ ከሳራ ኾነ ፡ ፡

repel ill [ conduct ] with that which is the best . we know best whatever they allege .
በዚያች እርስዋ መልካም በኾነችው ( ጠባይ ) መጥፎይቱን ነገር ገፍትር ፡ ፡ እኛ የሚሉትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂዎች ነን ፡ ፡

the evil one threatens you with poverty and bids you to conduct unseemly . allah promiseth you his forgiveness and bounties .
ሰይጣን ( እንዳትለግሱ ) ድኽነትን ያስፈራራችኋል ፡ ፡ በመጥፎም ያዛችኋል ፡ ፡ አላህም ከርሱ የኾነን ምሕረትና ችሮታን ይቀጥራችኋል ፡ ፡ አላህም ችሮታው ሰፊ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

just like those who tasted the evil consequence of their conduct recently before them , and there is a painful punishment for them .
( ብጤያቸው ) እንደእነዚያ ከእነሱ በፊት በቅርብ ጊዜ የነገራቸውን ቅጣት እንደቀመሱት ብጤ ነው ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም አሳማሚ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

about whom it has been decreed that he will mislead those who take him for an ally , and conduct them toward the punishment of the blaze .
እነሆ ! የተከተለውን ሰው እርሱ ያጠመዋል ፡ ፡ ወደ ነዳጅ እሳት ስቃይም ይመራዋል ማለት በርሱ ላይ ተጽፏል ፡ ፡

against him it is written down that whoever takes him for a friend , he shall lead him astray and conduct him to the chastisement of the burning fire .
እነሆ ! የተከተለውን ሰው እርሱ ያጠመዋል ፡ ፡ ወደ ነዳጅ እሳት ስቃይም ይመራዋል ማለት በርሱ ላይ ተጽፏል ፡ ፡

and those who respond to their lord , and pray regularly , and conduct their affairs by mutual consultation , and give of what we have provided them .
ለእነዚያም የጌታቸውን ጥሪ ለተቀበሉት ፣ ሶላትንም ላዘወተሩት ፣ ነገራቸውም በመካከላቸው መመካከር ለኾነው ከሰጠናቸውም ሲሳይ ለሚለግሱት ፡ ፡

allah doth admonish you , that ye may never repeat such ( conduct ) , if ye are ( true ) believers .
ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

god has informed us about you ; and god and his apostle shall watch your conduct . then you will be brought to him who knows what is hidden and what is manifest .
ወደእነሱ በተመለሳችሁ ጊዜ ምክንያታቸውን ያቀርቡላችኋል ፡ ፡ አታመካኙ ፤ እናንተን ፈጽሞ አናምንም ፡ ፡ አላህ ከወሬዎቻችሁ በእርግጥ ነግሮናልና ፡ ፡ አላህም ሥራችሁን በእርግጥ ያያል ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውም ( እንደዚሁ ) ፤ ከዚያም ሩቅንና ቅርብን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ወደ ኾነው ( አላህ ) ትመለሳላችሁ ወዲያውም ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትን ሁሉ ይነግራችኋል በላቸው ፡ ፡

bring us out of this ! then , if we revert [ to our previous conduct ] , we will indeed be wrongdoers . ’
« ጌታችን ሆይ ! ከእርሷ አውጣን ፡ ፡ ( ወደ ክህደት ) ብንመለስም እኛ በደዮች ነን ፡ ፡ »

' and we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth , or whether their lord ( really ) intends to guide them to right conduct .
‹ እኛም በምድር ውስጥ ባልሉ ሰዎች ክፉ ተሽቷል ? ወይስ በእነርሱ ጌታቸው ደግን ነገር ሽቷል ? ማለትን አናውቅም ፡ ፡

but if the thief repents after his crime , and amends his conduct , allah turneth to him in forgiveness ; for allah is oft-forgiving , most merciful .
ከበደሉም በኋላ የተጸጸተና ሥራውን ያሳመረ አላህ ጸጸቱን ከእርሱ ይቀበለዋል ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

" so we desired that their lord would give them in exchange ( a son ) better in purity ( of conduct ) and closer in affection .
« ጌታቸውም በንጹሕነት ከእርሱ በላጭን በእዝነትም ከእርሱ በጣም ቀራቢን ልጅ ሊለውጥላቸው ፈለግን ፡ ፡

' amongst us are some that submit their wills ( to allah ) , and some that swerve from justice . now those who submit their wills - they have sought out ( the path ) of right conduct :
« እኛም ከእኛ ውስጥ ሙስሊሞች አልሉ ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ውስጥ በዳዮች አልሉ ፡ ፡ የሰለሙም ሰዎች እነዚያ ቅንን መንገድ መረጡ ፡ ፡ »
