ይህ ( አነስተኛይቱን ሕይወት መምረጥ ) ከዕውቀት ድካቸው ነው ፡ ፡ ጌታህ እርሱ ከመንገዱ የተሳሳተውን በእርግጥ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም የቀናውን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

such is their sum of knowledge . lo ! thy lord is best aware of him who strayeth , and he is best aware of him whom goeth right .
ይህ ( አነስተኛይቱን ሕይወት መምረጥ ) ከዕውቀት ድካቸው ነው ፡ ፡ ጌታህ እርሱ ከመንገዱ የተሳሳተውን በእርግጥ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም የቀናውን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

so make no haste against them ( o muhammad ) . we do but number unto them a sum ( of days ) .
በእነሱም ( መቀጣት ) ላይ አትቻኮል ፡ ፡ ለእነሱ ( ቀንን ) መቁጠርን እንቆጥርላቸዋለንና ፡ ፡

and if ye wish to exchange one wife for another and ye have given unto one of them a sum of money ( however great ) , take nothing from it . would ye take it by the way of calumny and open wrong ?
በሚስትም ስፍራ ሚስትን ለመለወጥ ብትፈልጉ ለአንደኛይቱ ( ለምትፈታው ) ብዙን ገንዘብ የሰጣችኋት ስትኾኑ ከርሱ ምንንም አትውሰዱ ፡ ፡ በመበደልና ግልጽ በኾነ ኀጢአት ትወስዱታላችሁን
