it is only an inspiration that is inspired .
እርሱ ( ንግግሩ ) የሚወርረድ ራእይ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡

for that thy lord will have given her inspiration .
ጌታህ ለእርሷ በማሳወቁ ምክንያት ፡ ፡

it is no less than inspiration sent down to him :
እርሱ ( ንግግሩ ) የሚወርረድ ራእይ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡

it is naught save an inspiration that is inspired ,
እርሱ ( ንግግሩ ) የሚወርረድ ራእይ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡

remember when we inspired your mother with a certain inspiration
« ወደናትህ በልብ የሚፈስን ነገር ባሳወቅን ጊዜ ፡ ፡

recall , when we indicated to your mother through inspiration :
« ወደናትህ በልብ የሚፈስን ነገር ባሳወቅን ጊዜ ፡ ፡

" behold ! we sent to thy mother , by inspiration , the message :
« ወደናትህ በልብ የሚፈስን ነገር ባሳወቅን ጊዜ ፡ ፡

" i have chosen thee : listen , then , to the inspiration ( sent to thee ) .
« እኔም መረጥኩህ ፤ የሚወረድልህንም ነገር አዳምጥ ፡ ፡

and she who guarded her chastity , so we breathed into her of our inspiration and made her and her son a sign for the nations .
ያችንም ብልቷን የጠበቀቺውን በርሷም ውስጥ ከመንፈሳችን የነፋንባትን እርሷንም ልጅዋንም ( እንደዚሁ ) ለዓለማት ተዓምር ያደረግናትን ( መርየምን አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

follow thou the inspiration sent unto thee , and be patient and constant , till allah do decide : for he is the best to decide .
ወዳንተም የሚወረደውን ነገር ተከተል ፡ ፡ አላህም ( በነሱ ላይ ) እስከሚፈርድ ድረስ ታገስ ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከፈራጆቹ ሁሉ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡

all scripture is given by inspiration of god, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
የእግዚአብሔር ሰው ፍጹምና ለበጎ ሥራ ሁሉ የተዘጋጀ ይሆን ዘንድ፥ የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ያለበት መጽሐፍ ሁሉ ለትምህርትና ለተግሣጽ ልብንም ለማቅናት በጽድቅም ላለው ምክር ደግሞ ይጠቅማል።

and before thee also the messengers we sent were but men , to whom we granted inspiration : if ye realise this not , ask of those who possess the message .
ከአንተም በፊት ወደእነሱ ወሕይን ( ራእይን ) የምናወርድላቸውን ሰዎችን እንጂ ሌላን አልላክንም ፡ ፡ የማታውቁም ብትኾኑ የዕውቀትን ባለቤቶች ጠይቁ ፡ ፡

say ( o muhammad , unto mankind ) : i warn you only by the inspiration . but the deaf hear not the call when they are warned .
« የማስፈራራችሁ በተወረደልኝ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ግን ደንቆሮዎች በሚስፈራሩ ጊዜ ጥሪን አይሰሙም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and ( o muhammad saw ) , follow the inspiration sent unto you , and be patient till allah gives judgement . and he is the best of judges .
ወዳንተም የሚወረደውን ነገር ተከተል ፡ ፡ አላህም ( በነሱ ላይ ) እስከሚፈርድ ድረስ ታገስ ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከፈራጆቹ ሁሉ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡

" and construct the ship under our eyes and with our inspiration , and address me not on behalf of those who did wrong ; they are surely to be drowned . "
( አላህም ) « በጥበቃችንና በትእዛዛችንም ሆነህ መርከቢቱን ሥራ ፡ ፡ በእነዚያም በበደሉት ሰዎች ነገር አታናግረኝ እነሱ በእርግጥ ሰማጮች ናቸውና » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

and construct the ship under our observation and our inspiration and do not address me concerning those who have wronged ; indeed , they are [ to be ] drowned . "
( አላህም ) « በጥበቃችንና በትእዛዛችንም ሆነህ መርከቢቱን ሥራ ፡ ፡ በእነዚያም በበደሉት ሰዎች ነገር አታናግረኝ እነሱ በእርግጥ ሰማጮች ናቸውና » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

" but construct an ark under our eyes and our inspiration , and address me no ( further ) on behalf of those who are in sin : for they are about to be overwhelmed ( in the flood ) . "
( አላህም ) « በጥበቃችንና በትእዛዛችንም ሆነህ መርከቢቱን ሥራ ፡ ፡ በእነዚያም በበደሉት ሰዎች ነገር አታናግረኝ እነሱ በእርግጥ ሰማጮች ናቸውና » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡
