saying : give up to me the slaves of allah . lo !
« የአላህን ባሮች ወደኔ አድርሱ ፡ ፡ እኔ ለእናንተ ታማኝ መልክተኛ ነኝና ፡ ፡

and allah will never give respite to any soul when its promise arrives ; and allah is aware of your deeds .
ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ የሞት ጊዜዋ በመጣበት ጊዜ አላህ በፍጹም አያቆያትም ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

the human being never tires of asking for good , but if he is afflicted by hardship , he despairs and gives up all hope .
ሰው በጎ ነገርን ከመለመን አይሰለችም ፡ ፡ ክፉም ቢያገኘው ወዲያውኑ በጣም ተስፋ ቆራጭ ተበሳጭ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

and said , " should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet " .
እኛ ለዕብድ ባለቅኔ ብለን አማልክቶቻችንን የምንተው ነን ? ይሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

and to say : what ! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet ?
እኛ ለዕብድ ባለቅኔ ብለን አማልክቶቻችንን የምንተው ነን ? ይሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

and give up the open and hidden sins ; those who earn sins will soon receive the punishment of their earnings .
የኃጢአትንም ግልጹንም ድብቁንም ተውዉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ኃጢአትን የሚሠሩ ፤ ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር በእርግጥ ይቀጣሉ ፡ ፡

o believers , fear allah and give up that interest which is still due to you , if you are true believers ;
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ከአራጣም የቀረውን ተዉ ፡ ፡ አማኞች እንደኾናችሁ ( ተጠንቀቁ ) ፡ ፡

and give unto women dowries as a gift , and if of themselves they give up aught thereof unto you , then eat it in pleasure and profit .
ሴቶችንም መህሮቻቸውን በደስታ ስጡ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ከእርሱ አንዳችን ነገር ነፍሶቻቸው ቢለግሱ መልካም ምስጉን ሲኾን ብሉት ፡ ፡

and give women their dowries as a free gift , but if they of themselves be pleased to give up to you a portion of it , then eat it with enjoyment and with wholesome result .
ሴቶችንም መህሮቻቸውን በደስታ ስጡ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ከእርሱ አንዳችን ነገር ነፍሶቻቸው ቢለግሱ መልካም ምስጉን ሲኾን ብሉት ፡ ፡

believers , when the call for prayer is made on friday , hasten to the remembrance of allah and give up all trading . that is better for you , if you only knew .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! በዐርብ ቀን ለስግደት ጥሪ በተደረገ ጊዜ ወደ አላህ ማውሳት ኺዱ ፡ ፡ መሸጥንም ተዉ ፡ ፡ ይህ የምታውቁ ብትኾኑ ለእናንተ በጣም የተሻለ ነወ ፡ ፡

man wearies not of praying for good , but when evil visits him , he despairs and gives up all hope .
ሰው በጎ ነገርን ከመለመን አይሰለችም ፡ ፡ ክፉም ቢያገኘው ወዲያውኑ በጣም ተስፋ ቆራጭ ተበሳጭ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

and recall when moosa said to his assistant , “ i will not give up until i reach the place where the two seas meet or until i have progressed for ages . ”
ሙሳም ለወጣቱ « የሁለቱን ባሕሮች መገናኛ እስከምደርስ ወይም ብዙን ጊዜ እስከምኼድ ድረስ ( ከመጓዝ ) አልወገድም » ያለውን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

and fight against them until the mischief ends and the way prescribed by allah - the whole of it -prevail then , if they give up mischief , surely allah sees what they do .
ሁከትም እስከማትገኝ ሃይማኖትም ሁሉ ለአላህ ብቻ እስከሚኾን ድረስ ተጋደሏቸው ፡ ፡ ቢከለከሉም አላህ የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

his father replied , " abraham , are you telling me to give-up my gods ? if you will not stop this , i shall stone you to death .
( አባቱም ) « ኢብራሂም ሆይ ! አንተ አምላኮቼን ትተህ የምትዞር ነህን ባትከለከል በእርግጥ እወግርሃለሁ ፡ ፡ ረዥም ጊዜንም ተወኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

" o my sons ! go ye and enquire about joseph and his brother , and never give up hope of allah 's soothing mercy : truly no one despairs of allah 's soothing mercy , except those who have no faith . "
« ልጆቼ ሆይ ! ሊዱ ፤ ከዩሱፍና ከወንድሙም ( ወሬ ) ተመራመሩ ፡ ፡ ከአላህም እዝነት ተስፋ አትቁረጡ ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከአላህ እዝነት ከሓዲዎች ሕዝቦች እንጂ ተስፋ አይቆርጥም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡
