do not reduce the measure nor the scale . i see you are prosperous , and fear the punishment of an encompassing day for you .
ወደ መድየንም ወንድማቸውን ሹዐይብን ( ላክን ) ፡ ፡ አላቸው « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! አላህን ተገዙ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ለናንተ አምላክ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንንም አታጉድሉ ፤ እኔ በጸጋ ላይ ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም በእናንተ ላይ የከባቢን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ ፡ ፡

and give not short measure and weight . verily i see you in prosperity , and verily i fear for you the torment of a day encompassing
ወደ መድየንም ወንድማቸውን ሹዐይብን ( ላክን ) ፡ ፡ አላቸው « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! አላህን ተገዙ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ለናንተ አምላክ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንንም አታጉድሉ ፤ እኔ በጸጋ ላይ ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም በእናንተ ላይ የከባቢን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ ፡ ፡

and diminish not the measure and the balance . i see you are prospering ; and i fear for you the chastisement of an encompassing day .
ወደ መድየንም ወንድማቸውን ሹዐይብን ( ላክን ) ፡ ፡ አላቸው « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! አላህን ተገዙ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ለናንተ አምላክ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንንም አታጉድሉ ፤ እኔ በጸጋ ላይ ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም በእናንተ ላይ የከባቢን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ ፡ ፡

and do not decrease from the measure and the scale . indeed , i see you in prosperity , but indeed , i fear for you the punishment of an all-encompassing day .
ወደ መድየንም ወንድማቸውን ሹዐይብን ( ላክን ) ፡ ፡ አላቸው « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! አላህን ተገዙ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ለናንተ አምላክ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንንም አታጉድሉ ፤ እኔ በጸጋ ላይ ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም በእናንተ ላይ የከባቢን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ ፡ ፡

he said : the knowledge is with allah only . i convey unto you that wherewith i have been sent , but i see you are a folk that know not .
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and when ibrahim said to his sire , azar : do you take idols for gods ? surely i see you and your people in manifest error .
ኢብራሒምም ለአባቱ ለአዘር « ጣዖታትን አማልክት አድርገህ ትይዛለህን እኔ ፤ አንተንም ሕዝቦችህንም በግልጽ መሳሳት ውስጥ ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ )

he said , " god alone knows when it will come , and i deliver to you the message with which i am sent , but i see you are a people who are ignorant . "
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

he said , ' knowledge is only with god , and i deliver to you the message with which i was sent ; but i see you are an ignorant people . '
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and recall when abraham said to his father , azar : ' do you take idols for gods ? i see you and your people in obvious error . '
ኢብራሒምም ለአባቱ ለአዘር « ጣዖታትን አማልክት አድርገህ ትይዛለህን እኔ ፤ አንተንም ሕዝቦችህንም በግልጽ መሳሳት ውስጥ ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ )

( and remember ) when abraham said to his father azar : ' will you take idols for gods , surely i see you and your people are in clear error '
ኢብራሒምም ለአባቱ ለአዘር « ጣዖታትን አማልክት አድርገህ ትይዛለህን እኔ ፤ አንተንም ሕዝቦችህንም በግልጽ መሳሳት ውስጥ ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ )

i ask of you no wealth therefor . my reward is the concern only of allah , and i am not going to thrust away those who believe - lo ! they have to meet their lord ! - but i see you a folk that are ignorant .
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በርሱ ( በተላክሁበት ማድረስ ) ላይ ገንዘብን አልጠይቃችሁም ፡ ፡ ምንዳዬ በአላህ ላይ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኔም እነዚያን ያመኑትን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ጌታቸውን የሚገናኙ ናቸውና ፡ ፡ ግን እኔም የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ »

and ( remember ) when ibrahim ( abraham ) said to his father azar : " do you take idols as aliha ( gods ) ? verily , i see you and your people in manifest error .
ኢብራሒምም ለአባቱ ለአዘር « ጣዖታትን አማልክት አድርገህ ትይዛለህን እኔ ፤ አንተንም ሕዝቦችህንም በግልጽ መሳሳት ውስጥ ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ )
