Անցան Եգիպտացիների երկրի առատութեան եօթը տարիները,

now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into capernaum.
Եւ երբ Յիսուս վերջացրեց իր բոլոր խօսքերը, եւ ժողովուրդը նրան լսեց, Կափառնայում մտաւ:

and it came to pass, when jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
Երբ Յիսուս այս բոլոր խօսքերն աւարտեց, ժողովուրդը զարմանում էր նրա վարդապետութեան վրայ.

and on the seventh day god ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Աստուած վեցերորդ օրն աւարտեց արարչագործութիւնը եւ իր կատարած բոլոր գործերից յետոյ՝ եօթներորդ օրը, հանգստացաւ:

being forty days tempted of the devil. and in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
ու քառասուն օր փորձուեց սատանայից: Չկերաւ եւ չխմեց այն օրերին. եւ երբ քառասուն օրերը լրացան, քաղց զգաց:

and supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of judas iscariot, simon's son, to betray him;
Եւ ընթրիքի ժամանակ, երբ սատանան արդէն իսկ Սիմոնի որդի Իսկարիովտացի Յուդայի սրտի մէջ դրել էր, որ մատնի նրան,

when that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, we will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:
Այդ տարին անցաւ. նրանք երկրորդ տարին եկան Յովսէփի մօտ եւ ասացին. «Արդեօ՞ք կորստի կը մատնուենք մեր տիրոջ կողմից: Տէ՛ր, եթէ արծաթ կար, վերջացաւ, եթէ ոչխարներ եւ անասուններ՝ քեզ մօտ են: Մենք այլեւս ոչինչ չունենք մեր տիրոջը տալու, բացի մեր անձերից ու մեր հողից:
