ငါသည်ကဲ့ရဲ့သောသူ၊ ညဉ်းဆဲသောသူ၊ ကြမ်းကြုတ်သောသူဖြစ်ဘူးသော်လည်း၊ သစ္စာရှိသောသူဟု ထိုသခင်သည် မှတ်၍၊ ဓမ္မဆရာအရာ၌ ခန့်ထားတော်မူ၏။ ထိုသို့ငါပြုသောအခါ ယုံခြင်းမရှိ၊ အမှန်မသိဘဲ ပြုသောကြောင့်၊ ကရုဏာတော်ကိုငါခံရပြီ။

and the man said, the woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and i did eat.
လူကလည်း ကျွန်တော်၌ အပ်ပေးတော်မူသော မိန်းမသည် ထိုအပင်၏အသီးကိုပေး၍ ကျွန်တော်စားမိပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။

ဒါပေမယ့် သူ့လက်ကတော့ ကောင်းနေတယ်လို့ ကျွန်တော်ထင်ပါတယ်။

ငါ့ဘုန်းတော်ကို၎င်း၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှစ၍ ဤ တော၌ ထူးဆန်းသော တန်ခိုးတော်ကို၎င်း မြင်ရသော လူအပေါင်းတို့သည်၊ ငါ့စကားကိုနားမထောင်၊ ဆယ်ကြိမ် တိုင်အောင် ငါ့ကိုစုံစမ်းသောကြောင့်၊

and the lord god said unto the woman, what is this that thou hast done? and the woman said, the serpent beguiled me, and i did eat.
ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်သို့ပြုပြီးသနည်းဟု မိန်းမအားမေးတော်မူလျှင်၊ မိန်းမက မြွေသည် ကျွန်တော်မကို လှည့်စား၍၊ ကျွန်တော်မသည်စားမိပါပြီဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။

and i did so as i was commanded: i brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even i digged through the wall with mine hand; i brought it forth in the twilight, and i bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.
ငါသည် သိမ်းသွားခြင်းကို ခံရသောသူ၏ ဥစ္စာပရိကံများကဲ့သို့၊ ငါ၏ဥစ္စာပရိကံများကို နေ့အချိန်၌ ထုတ်၍၊ ညအချိန်၌အုတ်ရိုးကို ကိုယ်လက်နှင့် တူးဖော် ပြီးမှ၊ ညဦးယံအချိန်၌သူတို့မျက်မှောက်တွင် ပခုံးပေါ်မှာ ထမ်းသွား၏။

and i will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which i did swear to give it to abraham, to isaac, and to jacob; and i will give it you for an heritage: i am the lord.
ငါသည်လည်း၊ အာဗြဟံ၊ ဣဇာက်၊ ယာကုပ်တို့ အားပေးမည်ဟု ကျိန်ဆိုသောပြည်သို့ ငါပို့ဆောင်၍၊ အမွေခံစရာဘို့ပေးမည်။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and when i rose in the morning to give my child suck, behold, it was dead: but when i had considered it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, which i did bear.
နံနက်အချိန်၌ ကျွန်တော်မသည်သားငယ်ကို နို့တိုက်မည်ထသောအခါ၊ သားငယ်သည် သေလျက် ရှိပါ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ကျွန်တော်မသည် သေသောသူငယ်ကို စေ့စေ့ကြည့်ရှုသောအခါ၊ ကျွန်တော်မ ဘွားမြင်သော သားမဟုတ်ပါဟုလျှောက်၏။

and he saith unto him, out of thine own mouth will i judge thee, thou wicked servant. thou knewest that i was an austere man, taking up that i laid not down, and reaping that i did not sow:
သခင်က၊ ဆိုးညစ်သောငယ်သား၊ သင်၏ စကားကိုသာလိုက်၍ သင်၏အမှုကို ငါစီရင်မည်။ ငါသည် ခဲယဉ်းသောသူဖြစ်လျက် ကိုယ်မသိုမထားသောဥစ္စာကို သိမ်းယူ၍၊ ကိုယ်မစိုက်ပျိုးသော လယ်၌ရိတ်သည်ကို သင်သိသည်မှန်လျှင်၊

and i fell down before the lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: i did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the lord, to provoke him to anger.
သင်တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို အမျက်တော် ထွက်စေခြင်းငှာ၊ ရှေ့တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ပြုမိသောအပြစ် ရှိသမျှတို့ကြောင့်၊ ငါသည် အရင်ပြုသကဲ့သို့ ထာဝရ ဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ပြပ်ဝပ်၍ အရက်လေးဆယ်ပတ်လုံး မုန့်ကိုမစား၊ ရေကို မသောက်ဘဲနေရ၏။

surely after that i was turned, i repented; and after that i was instructed, i smote upon my thigh: i was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because i did bear the reproach of my youth.
ပြန်လာသောနောက်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အမှန် နောင်တရပါ၏။ ဆုံးမတော်မူခြင်းကို ခံရသောနောက်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်ပေါင်ကို ရိုက်ပါ၏။ အသက်ငယ်စဉ် ပြုမိသော အပြစ်ကြောင့် အသရေပျက်ခြင်းကို ခံရ သဖြင့်၊ ရှက်ကြောက်၍ မှိုင်တွေလျက်ရှိပါ၏ဟု ကိုယ်ကို အပြစ်တင်၍ မြည်တမ်းသောစကားကို ငါသည် ဆက် ဆက်ကြားရပြီ။

john answered, saying unto them all, i indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than i cometh, the latchet of whose shoes i am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the holy ghost and with fire:
ယောဟန်သည် လူအပေါင်းတို့အား ပြန်ပြောသည်ကား၊ ငါသည်သင်တို့အား ရေ၌ ဗတ္တိဇံကိုပေး၏။ ငါ့ထက်တတ်စွမ်းနိုင်သောသူသည် ကြွလာသေး၏။ ထိုသူ၏ခြေတော်ကြိုးကိုမျှ ဖြည်ခြင်းငှါ ငါမထိုက်။ ထို သူသည် သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်၌၎င်း၊ မီး၌၎င်း သင်တို့ကိုဗတ္တဇံကိုပေးမည်။
