thus saith the lord god; an evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဘေးတခု နောက်တခု ရောက်လာ၏။

there is an evil which i have seen under the sun, and it is common among men:
လူတို့တွင် အတွေ့များ၍၊ နေအောက်၌ ငါမြင်ရ သော အမှုဆိုးဟူမူကား၊

in the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
အဓမ္မလူပြစ်မှားရာ၌ ကျော့ကွင်းထောင်လျက် ရှိ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူမူကား၊ ရွှင်လန်းစွာ သီချင်း ဆိုတတ်၏။

wherein i suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of god is not bound.
ထိုတရားကြောင့် ငါသည်လူဆိုးကဲ့သို့ ချည်နှောင်ခြင်းတိုင်အောင်ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခကိုခံရ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏နှုတ်ကပတ်တရားတော်သည်ချည်နှောင်ခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်၏။

because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
အဓမ္မအမှုကို အလျင်အမြန်စစ်ကြော၍၊ ဒဏ် မပေးသောကြောင့်၊ လူသားတို့သည် အဓမ္မအမှုကို ပြုခြင်း ငှါ၊ ခိုင်မာစွာ သဘောထားကြ၏။

but the spirit of the lord departed from saul, and an evil spirit from the lord troubled him.
ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် ရှောလုမှ ထွက်သွား၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်က ဆိုးသော ဝိညာဉ်သည် နှောင့်ရှက်တတ်၏။

an evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

and saul's servants said unto him, behold now, an evil spirit from god troubleth thee.
ရှောလု၏ ကျွန်တို့ကလည်း၊ ယခုမှာ ဘုရားသခင်ထံတော်က ဆိုးသော ဝိညာဉ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို နှောင့်ရှက်တတ်ပါ၏။

an evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
သူ၌ အဓမ္မအမှုအရာစွဲကပ်သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ တခါလဲလျှင် နောက်တဖန်မထရဟု ဆိုကြ၏။

take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living god.

ကောင်းသောသူသည် ကောင်းသောစိတ်နှလုံးဘဏ္ဍာတိုက်ထဲက ကောင်းသောအရာတို့ကို ထုတ်ဘော် တတ်၏။ မကောင်းသောသူသည် မကောင်းသောဘဏ္ဍာတိုက်ထဲက မကောင်းသောအရာတို့ကို ထုတ်ဘော် တတ်၏။

whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူကို လမ်းလွှဲ၍၊ မကောင်း သော လမ်းထဲသို့ သွေးဆောင်သောသူသည် မိမိတူးသော တွင်းထဲသို့ မိမိကျလိမ့်မည်။ သဘောဖြောင့်သောသူ မူကား၊ ကောင်းသောအရာတို့ကို အမွေခံရလိမ့်မည်။

a good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
ကောင်းသောသူသည် ကောင်းသော မိမိစိတ်နလုံး အဏ္ဍာတိုက်ထဲကကောင်းသောအရာကို ထုတ် ဘော်တတ်၏။ မကောင်းသောသူသည် မကောင်းသောအရာကိုထုတ်ဘော်တတ်၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ စိတ် နှလုံးအပြည့်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း နှုတ်မြွတ်တတ်၏။

therefore was he hired, that i should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
သူတို့သည်ငါ့ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့စရာအကြောင်းရှိစေ လျက်၊ ငါကြောက်၍ ထိုသို့ပြုသဖြင့်၊ ပြစ်မှားစေခြင်းငှါ ထိုသူကို ငှါးကြ၏။

and give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, i took this woman, and when i came to her, i found her not a maid:
ငါသည် ဤမိန်းမနှင့် ထိမ်းမြားဆက်ဆံသော အခါ၊ ကညာမစစ်ကြောင်းကို သိရပြီဟု ထိုမိန်းမ၌ ကဲ့ရဲ့စရာအကြောင်းကို ပြု၍ သူ့အသရေကို ဖျက်လျှင်၊

a man to whom god hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet god giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.
အလိုဆန္ဒရှိသမျှပြေလောက်အောင် စည်းစိမ် ဥစ္စာဂုဏ်အသရေကို ဘုရားသခင်ပေးသော်လည်း၊ ခံစား ရသောအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မမူသောကြောင့်၊ ကိုယ်တိုင် မခံစားရ။ မဆိုင်သော သူတပါးဝင်၍ ခံစားရသောအမှု သည် အနတ္တအမှု၊ ဆိုးသောအမှု ဖြစ်၏။
