so joab and the people that were with him drew nigh before the syrians unto the battle; and they fled before him.

ထိုအခါ ယောရှုသည် မိမိအဝတ်ကို ဆုတ်၍ ဣသရေလအမျိုး အသက်ကြီးသူတို့နှင့်တကွ၊ မိမိတို့ခေါင်း ပေါ်၌ မြေမှုန့်ကိုတင်၍ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ သေတ္တာတော် ရှေ့မှာ ညဦးတိုင်အောင် ဝပ်လျက်နေကြ၏။

and ezra blessed the lord, the great god. and all the people answered, amen, amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the lord with their faces to the ground.

and the king answered them roughly; and king rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men,

and the lord said unto moses, go in unto pharaoh: for i have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that i might shew these my signs before him:

then they that feared the lord spake often one to another: and the lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the lord, and that thought upon his name.
ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သော သူ တို့သည် တယောက်ကိုတယောက် နှုတ်ဆက်၍ ပြောဆို ကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်လည်း နားထောင်၍ ကြား တော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့၍ နာမတော်ကို အောက်မေ့သောသူတို့အဘို့၊ ရှေ့တော်တွင် စာရင်း၌ မှတ်သားလျက်ရှိ၏။

and the prophet took up the carcase of the man of god, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

and he shall go before him in the spirit and power of elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the lord.
အဘတို့နှင့် သားတို့ကို အသင့်အတင့်ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ငြင်းဆန်သောသူတို့ကို သူတော်ကောင်းတို့၏ သတိပညာလမ်းသို့ ပြောင်းလဲစေသောအားဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားအဘို့အလိုငှါ ပြင်ဆင်သောလူမျိုးဖြစ်စေ ခြင်းငှါ ၎င်း၊ သူသည်ဧလိယ၏ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်တန်ခိုးနှင့်ပြည့်စုံလျက်၊ ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်သို့ သွားလိမ့်မည်ဟု ကောင်း ကင်တမန်ပြောဆို၏။

a fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

and the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of canaan that year.
ခါနာန်ပြည် စပါးကို စား၍၊ နက်ဖြန်နေ့၌ မနွ ပြတ်လေ၏။ နောက်တဖန် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ သည် မနွကိုမရကြ။ ထိုနှစ်တွင် ခါနာန်ပြည်၌ဖြစ်သော အသီးအနှံ့ကို စားရကြ၏။

no man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.
