which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
နေကိုမှာထားတော်မူ၍ သူသည်မထွက်ရ။ ကြယ်တို့ကိုလည်း ကွယ်ထားတော်မူ၏။

and the lord said unto moses, take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the lord against the sun, that the fierce anger of the lord may be turned away from israel.
ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ ငါသည်ပြင်းစွာသော အမျက်တော်ကို ဣသရေလအမျိုးမှ လွဲစေခြင်းငှာ၊ ဣသရေလမင်းအပေါင်းတို့ကို ခေါ်၍၊ ပြစ်မှားသော သူတို့ကို ဘုရားရှေ့မှာ ထင်ရှားစွာ ဆွဲထားလော့ဟု မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မိမိလူတို့၏ ကျိုးပျက်ရာကို ပြုပြင်၍၊ သူတို့ခံရသော ဒဏ်ချက်ရာကို ပျောက် စေတော်မူသော အခါ၊ လ၏အလင်းသည် နေ ၏အ လင်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၍၊ နေ ၏အလင်းသည်လည်း ပကတိ ထက် ခုနစ်ဆလင်းလိမ့် မည်။

this is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
နေအောက်မှာ ပြုသမျှသောအမှု၌ပါသော ဝမ်း နည်းစရာဟူမူကား၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောသူတို့သည် တခုတည်း သောအမှုနှင့် တွေ့ကြုံရကြ၏။ အကယ်စင်စစ် လူသားတို့ ၏ စိတ်နှလုံးသည် ဒုစရိုက်သဘောနှင့်ပြည့်၏။ အသက် ရှင်စဉ်အခါ၊ သူတို့သည် ရူးသောစိတ်ကို စွဲလမ်း၍၊ နောက်တဖန် သေသွားတတ်ကြ၏။

and it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid, and laid great stones in the cave's mouth, which remain until this very day.
နေဝင်ချိန်ရောက်သောအခါ၊ ယောရှုစီရင်သည် အတိုင်း သစ်ပင်မှချပြီးလျှင်၊ သူတို့ပုန်းလျက်နေရာ လိုင် ခေါင်း၌ ပစ်ထား၍၊ လိုင်ခေါင်းဝပေါ်မှာ ကြီးစွာသော ကျောက်တို့ကို စုံပုံကြ၏။ ထိုကျောက်ပုံသည် ယနေ့တိုင် အောင်ရှိ၏။

i returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
တဖန် နေအောက်မှာရှိသော အမှုအရာတို့ကို ငါပြန်၍ ကြည့်ရှုသောအခါ၊ လျင်မြန်သောသူသည် ပြိုင်၍ ပြေးသော်လည်း မနိုင်တတ်။ ခွန်အားကြီးသောသူသည် စစ်တိုက်၍ မအောင်တတ်။ ပညာရှိသောသူသည် ဝစွာ မစားတတ်။ ဥာဏ်ကောင်းသောသူသည် စည်းစိမ်ကို မရတတ်။ လိမ္မာသောသူသည် သူတပါးရှေ့၌ မျက်နှာ မရတတ်။ ခပ်သိမ်းသောသူတို့၌ ကာလအချိန်စေခြင်း၊ အဆင်သင့်ခြင်းရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ်တတ်သည်ကို ငါမြင် ၏။
