and i commanded, and search hath been made, and it is found that this city of old time hath made insurrection against kings, and that rebellion and sedition have been made therein.
ငါမှာထားသည်အတိုင်း စစ်ကြောကြသောအခါ၊ ထိုမြို့သည် ရှေးကာလ၌ ရှင်ဘုရင်တို့ကို ပုန်ကန်ကြောင်း၊ မကောင်းသောအကြံကို ကြံတတ်သောမြို့၊ ပုန်ကန်တတ် သော မြို့ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊

children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
မြေးတို့သည် အသက်ကြီးသောသူ၏ သရဖူဖြစ် ၏။ သားတို့၏ဘုန်းကား အဘတည်း။

and of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not i held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?
သင်သည် သစ္စာပျက်သည်တိုင်အောင်၎င်း၊ ငါ့ ကို မေ့လျော့၍ သတိမပြုဘဲ နေသည်တိုင်အောင်၎င်း၊ အဘယ်သူကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သနည်း။ ငါသည် ရှေးကာလမှ စ၍ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေသောကြောင့်၊ သင်သည် ငါ့ကို မကြောက်ဘဲနေသည်မဟုတ်လော။

awake, awake, put on strength, o arm of the lord; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. art thou not it that hath cut rahab, and wounded the dragon?
အို ထာဝရဘုရား၏ လက်ရုံးတော်၊ နိုးတော်မူ ပါ။ နိုး၍ ခွန်အားကို ယူတော်မူပါ။ ရှေးကာလနှင့် လွန် ဘူးသော ကာလ၌ကဲ့သို့ နိုးတော်မူပါ။ ရာခပ်ကို ဒဏ်ခတ် ၍ နဂါးကို နာစေသောသူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ပင် မဟုတ် လော။
