but a certain samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
ရှမာရိ လူတယောက်သည် ခရီးသွားရာတွင် ထိုလူနာရှိရာသို့ရောက်၍ မြင်သောအခါ၊ ကရုဏာစိတ် ရှိသည်နှင့်၊

and it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
ယေရိခေါမြို့အနီး၌ ရှိတော်မူစဉ်တွင်၊ လူကန်းတယောက်သည် လမ်းနားမှာထိုင်၍ တောင်းစား လေ၏။

and as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, thy son liveth.
လမ်း၌သွားစဉ်တွင် မိမိငယ်သားတို့သည် ခရီးဦးကြိုလာ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏သားတော်သည် အသက် ချမ်းသာရပါပြီဟု ကြားလျှောက်ကြ၏။

and he arose and departed, and came to samaria. and as he was at the shearing house in the way,
နောက်မှထ၍ ရှမာရိမြို့သို့သွား၏။ လမ်းနားမှာ ရှိသော သိုးမွေးညှပ်ရာစရပ်သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊

now as he was speaking with me, i was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
ထိုသို့ ဆိုသောအခါ ငါသည် မြေပေါ်မှာပြပ်ဝပ်၍ မိန်းမော တွေဝေလျက်နေ၏။ ထိုသူသည်ငါ့ကိုလက်နှင့် တို့၍ ယခင်နေရာ၌ မတ်တတ်နေစေပြီးလျှင်၊

and as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, master, master; and kissed him.
သူသည် ရောက်လျှင် ကိုယ်တော်ရင်းသို့ချက်ခြင်း ချဉ်းကပ်၍ အရှင်ဘုရား၊ အရှင်ဘုရားဟုဆိုလျက် နမ်းလေ၏။

and it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, lord, teach us to pray, as john also taught his disciples.
တရံရောအခါ ကိုယ်တော်သည် တစုံတခုသောအရပ်တွင် ဆုတောင်းတော်မူပြီးလျှင်၊ တပည့်တော် တ ယောက်က၊ သခင်၊ ဆုတောင်းစေခြင်းငှါ ယောဟန်သည်မိမိတပည့်တို့အား နည်းပေးသကဲ့သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အား နည်းပေးတော်မူပါဟု လျှောက်သော်၊

and as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. and jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.
သူငယ်လာစဉ်ပင်နတ်ဆိုးသည် မြေပေါ်မှာလှဲ၍ တောင့်မာစေ၏။ ယေရှုသည် ညစ်ညူးသောနတ်ကို ဆုံးမ၍ ထိုသူငယ်ကို ချမ်းသာစေပြီးမှ အဘအား အပ်ပေးတော်မူ၏။

and the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.
မိန်းမသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူသဖြင့် သားယောက်ျားကို ဘွားမြင်လေ၏။ ထိုသားသည် အဆင်းလှကြောင်းကို အမိမြင်လျှင်၊ သုံးလပတ်လုံး ဖွက်ထားလေ၏။

according as we hearkened unto moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the lord thy god be with thee, as he was with moses.
အရာရာတို့၌ မောရှေ၏စကားကို နားထောင် သည်နည်းတူ ကိုယ်တော်စကားကိုလည်း နားထောင်ပါ မည်။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မောရှေနှင့်အတူ ရှိသကဲ့သို့ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်အတူ ရှိတော်မူပါစေသော။

and his servant zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of arza steward of his house in tirzah.
ရထားစီးသူရဲတဝက်ကိုအုပ်သောသူ၊ မိမိကျွန် ဇိမရိသည်သင်းဖွဲ့၍၊ ဧလာသည် တိရဇမြို့တွင် နန်းတော် အုပ်အာဇ၏ အိမ်၌ယစ်မူးအောင် သောက်လျက်နေစဉ် အခါ၊

now naaman, captain of the host of the king of syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the lord had given deliverance unto syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
ရှုရိရှင်ဘုရင်၏ ဗိုလ်ချုပ်မင်းနေမန်သည် မိမိ သခင်ထံမှာ မျက်နှာရသောသူ၊ ဘုန်းကြီးသောသူဖြစ်၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ရှုရိပြည်သည် ထိုသူအားဖြင့် အောင်ရ သောအခွင့်ကို ထာဝရဘုရား ပေးတော်မူပြီ။ ထိုသူသည် ခွန်အားကြီးသော စစ်သူရဲဖြစ်၏။ သို့ရာတွင် နူနာစွဲ၏။

and it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. and gehazi said, my lord, o king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom elisha restored to life.
ဧလိရှဲသည် သေသောသူ အသက်ရှင်စေ ကြောင်းကို ဂေဟာဇိသည် ပြန်လျှောက်စဉ်တွင်၊ အသက် ရှင်စေသောသူငယ်၏ အမိသည်ကိုယ်အိမ်၊ ကိုယ်မြေကို ရအံ့သောငှါ အသနားတော်ခံလေ၏။ ဂေဟာဇိကလည်း၊ အရှင်မင်းကြီး၊ ဤမိန်းမကား ယခုပြောသော မိန်းမ၊ ဤ သူငယ်ကား ဧလိရှဲအသက်ရှင်စေသော သူငယ်ဖြစ်ပါ သည်ဟု လျှောက်လျှင်၊

by faith moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
မောရှေကို ဘွားမြင်ပြီးမှ အဆင်းလှသော သူငယ်ဖြစ်သည်ကို မိဘတို့သည်မြင်လျှင်၊ ယုံကြည်ခြင်း အားဖြင့် ရှင်ဘုရင်အမိန့်တော်ကို မကြောက်ဘဲ သုံးလပတ်လုံးသူ့ကို ဝှက်ထားလေ၏။

and he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of judaea by the farther side of jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
ထိုအရပ်မှ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ထ၍ ယော်ဒန်မြစ်တဘက်ကို ရှောက်သွားသဖြင့် ယုဒပြည်စွန်းသို့ ရောက် တော်မူ၏။ လူများတို့သည် အထံတော်၌စုဝေးပြန်၍၊ ထုံးစံရှိတော်မူသည်အတိုင်းတဖန် ဆုံးမဩဝါဒ ပေးတော် မူ၏။

and he went up from thence unto bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
ထိုမြို့မှ ဗေသလမြို့သို့ပြန်၍ ခရီးသွားစဉ်တွင်၊ လုလင်ပျိုတို့သည် မြို့ထဲကထွက်၍၊ ဟေဦးပြည်း၊ တက်ဦး လော့။ ဟေဦးပြည်း၊ တက်ဦးလော့ဟု ကဲ့ရဲ့ကြ၏။

and it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of nisroch his god, that adrammelech and sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of armenia. and esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.
နောက်တဖန်သူသည် မိမိဘုရားနိသရုတ်၏ ဗိမာန်၌ ကိုးကွယ်စဉ်တွင်၊ သားတော်အာဒြမ္မေလက်နှင့် ရှရေဇာသည်ခမည်းတော်ကို ထားနှင့် သတ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ အာရမနိပြည်သို့ ပြေးကြ၏။ သားတော် ဧသရ ဟဒ္ဒုန် သည်လည်း ခမည်းတော်အရာ၌ နန်းထိုင်၏။

and uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the lord: and jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.
ထိုသို့ဩဇိမင်းကြီးသည် သေသည်တိုင်အောင် နူနာစွဲ၍၊ ခြားနားသောနန်း၌နေရ၏။ ဗိမာန်တော်သို့ ဝင်သော အခွင့်ကို မရ။ သားတော်ယောသံသည် နန်းတော်ကို အုပ်စိုး၍ နိုင်ငံတော်မှုကိုစီရင်ရ၏။
