ပါးစပ်ကလေးသည် အမှန်တရားကို ပြောလေသည်

ye sent unto john, and he bare witness unto the truth.
သင်တို့သည် ယောဟန်ထံသို့စေလွှတ်ကြ၏။ သူသည် သမ္မာတရားဘက်၌ သက်သေခံ၏။

rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
မတရားသော အမှု၌ ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းမရှိတတ်၊ သမ္မာတရား၌ ဝမ်းမြောက်တတ်၏။

and because i tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
ငါသည်သစ္စာစကားကို ပြောသောကြောင့် သင်တို့မယုံကြ။

for we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
ငါတို့သည်သမ္မာတရားကို ဆီးတားခြင်းငှါ အလျှင်းမတတ်နိုင်ကြ။

and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

ယခုမူကား၊ ငါသည်သမ္မာတရားကို သင်တို့အား ဟောပြောသောကြောင့် သင်တို့၏ရန်သူဖြစ်သလော။

brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ သင်တို့တွင် တစုံတယောက်သောသူသည် သမ္မာတရားလမ်းမှလွဲသွား၍ သူတပါးသည် ထိုသူကို ပြန်စေလျှင်မူကား၊

we therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.
ငါတို့သည် သမ္မာတရားကို ကူမသောသူ ဖြစ်အံ့သောငှါ၊ ထိုသို့သောသူတို့အား ဧည့်သည်ဝတ်ကို ပြုအပ်ကြ၏။

and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
သမ္မာတရားကို နားမထောင်ဘဲ၊ ဒဏ္ဏာရီစကားကို နားထောင်၍ လွဲသွားကြလိမ့်မည်။

and for their sakes i sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
သမ္မာတရားအားဖြင့် သူတို့ကို သန့်ရှင်းစေမည်အကြောင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် သူတို့အဘို့အလိုငှါ ကိုယ် ကို သန့်ရှင်းစေပါ၏။

for the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.
ငါမှစ၍ သမ္မာတရားကို သိသောသူအပေါင်း တို့သည်၊ သခင်မနှင့် သားသမီးတို့၌ မှန်ကန်သောချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာရှိပါ၏။

ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ရောက်သော သူတို့တွင်၊ မတရားသော လှည့်ဖြားခြင်းအမျိုးမျိုးနှင့်၎င်း လာလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်အံ့သောငှါ သမ္မာတရား၌ မွေ့လျော်သော စိတ်ကို မခံမယူကြ။

forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which god hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
