သူတို့သည် ငါ၏လူတို့အဘို့ စာရေးတံချကြပြီ။ လူကလေးကို ပြည်တန်ဆာနှင့်၎င်း၊ မိန်းမကလေးကို မိမိသောက်စရာ စပျစ်ရည်နှင့်၎င်း ဖယ်လှယ်ကြပြီ တကား။

according to the grace of god which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, i have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. but let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

and fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, it is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the chaldeans.
လူမရှိ၊ တိရစ္ဆာန်မရှိ ဆိတ်ညံပြီ၊ ခါလဒဲ လူတို့ လက်သို့ ရောက်လေပြီဟု သင်တို့ဆိုတတ်သော ဤပြည်၌၊ နောက်တဖန် လယ်ယာတို့ကို ရောင်းဝယ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

he stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the lord hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof.

but he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. for unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
သခင်၏အလိုကို မသိဘဲလျက်၊ ဒဏ်ခံထိုက်သောအမှုကို ပြုမိသောသူမူကား၊ အနည်းငယ်သော ဒဏ် ကိုသာ ခံရ၏။ အကြင်သူသည် အများကိုဆပ်ရ၏။ အကြင်သူ၌ များစွာသောဥစ္စာကို အပ်နှင်း၏။ ထိုသူကို များစွာတောင်းလိမ့်မည်။

and when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, from whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
