အာဗြဟံကလည်း၊ ထိုအတိုင်းငါကျိန်ဆိုပါမည်ဟု ပြန်ပြောလေ၏။

and though they say, the lord liveth; surely they swear falsely.
သူတို့က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အသက်ရှင်တော်မူ သည်ဟုဆိုသော်လည်း၊ အကယ်စင်စစ်မဟုတ်မမှန် ကျိန်ဆိုတတ်ကြ၏။

and pharaoh said, go up, and bury thy father, according as he made thee swear.
ဖာရောမင်းကလည်း၊ သင်၏အဘ ကျိန်ဆိုစေသည်အတိုင်း သွား၍၊ သင်္ဂြိုဟ်လော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and the men said unto her, we will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.
ထိုသူတို့က၊ သင်သည် ကျိန်ဆိုစေသောအကျိန် ကြောင့်၊ ငါတို့၌ အပြစ်မရောက်ပါစေနှင့်။

and if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.
ငါတို့အမှုကိုလည်း သင်သည် ဘော်ပြလျှင်၊ သင်ယခုကျိန်ဆိုစေသော အကျိန်နှင့် ငါတို့သည် လွတ်စေ ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊

and he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of god, and by him that sitteth thereon.
ကောင်းကင်ဘုံကိုတိုင်တည်၍ ကျိန်ဆိုလျှင်၊ ပလ္လင်တော်ကို၎င်း၊ ပလ္လင်တော်ပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်တော်မူသော သူကို၎င်း တိုင်တည်၍ကျိန်ဆိုသတည်း။

and he said, swear unto me. and he sware unto him. and israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.
ငါ့အားကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းကို ပြုပါဟု ဆိုပြန်လျှင်၊ ကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းကို ပြု၏။ ဣသရေလသည်လည်း ခုတင် ခေါင်းရင်းပေါ်မှာ ကိုးကွယ်လေ၏။

and hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
ငါပေးမည်ဟု ဘိုးဘေးတို့အား ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူ သောပြည်တည်းဟူသော၊ နို့နှင့်ပျားရည်စီးသော ဤပြည် ကို ပေးသနားတော်မူသဖြင့်၊

if a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house;
လူသည်မိမိအိမ်နီးချင်းကို ပြစ်မှားသောကြောင့်၊ အကျိန်ခံရမည်ဟုအိမ်နီးချင်းဆိုလျက်၊ ဤအိမ်တော်၌ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ရှေ့မှာ အကျိန်တိုက်လျှင်၊

and my master made me swear, saying, thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the canaanites, in whose land i dwell:
ကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်ကလည်း၊ သင်သည်ငါနေသော ခါနာန်အမျိုးသမီးတို့တွင်၊ ငါ့သားဘို့ မယားကို မရွေးဘဲ၊

ငါ့ရှေ့၌ လူတိုင်းဒူးထောက်ရမည်၊ လူတိုင်း မိမိ နှုတ်နှင့် သစ္စာခံရမည်ဟု ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်တိုင်တည်၍ ငါကျိန်ဆိုသော တရားစကားသည် ငါ့နှုတ်မှ ထွက်သည် ဖြစ်၍၊ မပြည့်စုံဘဲ မနေရ။

and they said unto him, we are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the philistines. and samson said unto them, swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
သူတို့ကလည်း၊ သင့်ကို ချည်နှောင်၍ ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့လက်သို့ အပ်ခြင်းငှါ ယခု ငါတို့ လာကြပြီဟုဆိုသော်၊ ရှံဆုန်က၊ သင်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တိုင် ငါ့ကို မလုပ်ကြံပါဟု ကျိန်ဆိုကြလော့ဟု ဆိုလျှင်၊

and thou shalt swear, the lord liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.
သင်ကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အသက်ရှင်တော်မူ သည်ဟု သစ္စာစောင့်ခြင်း၊ တရားစီရင်ခြင်း၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကျိန်ဆိုလိမ့်မည်။ လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့သည် လည်း၊ ထိုဘုရားသခင်အားဖြင့် မိမိတို့ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေး၍၊ ထိုဘုရားသခင်ကို အမှီပြုလျက် ဝါကြွားကြလိမ့် မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
