a ko se pokaje i čini dobro, pa uistinu on se obratio allahu obraćenjem;

and verily i am the most forgiving unto whomsoever repenteth and believeth and worketh righteously, and thereafter letteth himself remain guided.
i uistinu, ja sam oprosnik onom ko se pokaje i uzvjeruje i radi dobro, zatim se uputi.

ko uradi dobro, pa za dušu je njegovu, a ko uradi zlo, pa protiv nje je; zatim ćete gospodaru svom biti vraćeni.

and those who had been vouchsafed the knowledge said: woe unto you! the reward of allah is best for him who believeth and worketh righteously and none shall attain it except the patient.
"teško vama!" – govorili su učeni – "onome koji vjeruje i čini dobra djela bolja je allahova nagrada, a biće samo strpljivima pružena."

not by your vain desires nor by the vain desires of the people of the book; whosoever worketh an evil, shall be requited therewith, and he will not find beside allah a patron nor a helper.
neće biti po željama vašim, niti po željama sljedbenika knjige. ko uradi zlo, biće kažnjen zbog njega i neće sebi naći mimo allaha zaštitnika, niti pomagača.

verily those who believe, and those who are judaised, and the sabians and the nazarenes - whosoever believeth in allah and the last day and worketh righteously, no fear shall come on them, nor shall they grieve.
oni koji su vjerovali, pa i oni koji su bili jevreji, i sabejci, i kršćani – oni koji su u allaha i u onaj svijet vjerovali i dobra djela činili – ničega se oni neće bojati i ni za čim oni neće tugovati.

and it is not your riches nor your children that shall draw you nigh unto us with a near approach, but whoso ever believeth and worketh righteously- then those! theirs shall be a twofold meed for that which they will have worked, and they will be in upper apartments secure.
i nisu bogatstva vaša niti djeca vaša ono što će vas nama približiti bliskošću, izuzev onog ko vjeruje i čini dobro. pa ti takvi će imati plaću dvostruku za ono što su radili i oni će u odajama biti sigurni.
