now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

and in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲤⲒⲚⲒⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲀⲦⲞⲞⲨⲒ ⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲈϮⲂⲰ ⲚⲔⲈⲚⲦⲈ ⲀⲤϢⲰⲞⲨⲒ ϨⲒ ⲦⲈⲤⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒ.

for by it the elders obtained a good report.
ϦⲈⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲨⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ϦⲀ ⲚⲒⲠⲢⲈⲤⲂⲨⲦⲈⲢⲞⲤ.

be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲐⲢⲈ ⲠⲒⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ϬⲢⲞ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ϬⲢⲞ ⲈⲠⲒⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ.

be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲤⲰⲢⲈⲘ ϢⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲀⲨⲦⲀⲔⲈ ⲚⲒϨⲎⲦ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈⲨ.

for this is good and acceptable in the sight of god our saviour;
ⲪⲀⲒ ⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤϢⲎⲠ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈⲚⲤⲰⲦⲎⲢ.

thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of jesus christ.
ⲀⲢⲒϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲚϢⲈⲠⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲀⲦⲞⲒ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ.

i am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲠⲒⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ϢⲀϤϮ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲈϤⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ.

glory to god in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϬⲞⲤⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϮⲘⲀϮ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ.

some indeed preach christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲞⲨⲪⲐⲞⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϢϬⲚⲎⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲞⲨϮⲘⲀϮ ⲤⲈϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.

pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
ⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲚ ⲠⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲆⲈ ⲐⲎⲦ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲨⲚⲎⲆⲈⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲔⲀⲖⲰⲤ.

watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
ⲢⲰⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀⲢⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲘⲠⲒⲎⲒ ⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲐⲚⲀⲨ ⲒⲈ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲢⲞⲨϨⲒ ⲒⲈ ⲦⲪⲀϢⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲈϪⲰⲢϨ ⲒⲈ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲒⲀⲖⲈⲔⲦⲰⲢ ⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲒⲈ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲦⲞⲞⲨⲒ

in all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
ⲈⲔⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲚⲦⲨⲠⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈⲨ ϦⲈⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ϦⲈⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲦⲀⲔⲞ ⲞⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲤⲈⲘⲚⲞⲤ.

but straightway jesus spake unto them, saying, be of good cheer; it is i; be not afraid.
ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲆⲈ ⲀϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ϪⲈⲘⲚⲞⲘϮ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢϨⲞϮ.

when a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ⲠⲒϪⲰⲢⲒ ϦⲞⲔϤ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲦⲈϤⲀⲨⲖⲎ ϢⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲈϤϨⲨⲠⲀⲢⲬⲞⲚⲦⲀ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ.
