though we had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy.
만일 하나님이 그들에게 자 비를 베풀어 그들의 고통을 제거 하여 준다하더라도 그들은 죄악을 더하여 방황하게 되리라

so that we might try them with respect to it; and whoever turns aside from the reminder of his lord, he will make him enter into an afflicting chastisement:
하나님은 그렇게 하여 그들을 시험하였나니 주님의 가르침을 외 면하는 자 있다면 그분은 그를 고 통스러운 응벌속에 들게 하리라

and remember when we rescued you from firaun’s people who were afflicting you with a dreadful torment; slaughtering your sons and sparing your daughters; and in it was a great favour from your lord.
기억하라 하니 하나님께 서 파라오 백성들로부터 너희를 구하사 그들은 너희에게 고난을 주어 너희의 남아들을 살해하고 여아들은 살려 두었으니 그 안에 는 너희 주님께서 내린 큰 시험이 있었더라

and (remember) when musa (moses) said to his people: "call to mind allah's favour to you, when he delivered you from fir'aun's (pharaoh) people who were afflicting you with horrible torment, and were slaughtering your sons and letting your women alive, and in it was a tremendous trial from your lord."
모세가 백성에게 말하길 하나님의 은혜를 기억하라 그분이 너 희를 파라오 백성으로부터 구하셨노라 그들은 너희를 무서운 학대 로 괴롭혔으니 여아들은 그대로 두었으나 남아들은 학살하였으매 그것은 너희 주님께서 내리신 커 다란 시험이었노라
