그러나 그 한계를 넘어 욕망 을 가진 자 실로 그들은 죄인들 이라

but covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew i unto you a more excellent way.
너 희 는 더 욱 큰 은 사 를 사 모 하 라 ! 내 가 또 한 제 일 좋 은 길 을 너 희 에 게 보 이 리

do not covet what we have granted myriads of people of the pomp and glitter of this world to tempt them. the means your lord has given you are better far and more enduring.
하나님이 그들중 일부에게 준 현세의 영화에 눈을 돌리지 말 라 실로 하나님은 그것을 통하여 그들을 시험하노라 주님이 주시는 양식은 가장 좋은 것이요 영원한 것이라

covet ye then that they would believe for you whereas surely a party of them hath been hearing the word of allah and then reverting it after they have understood it, while they know.
너회들은 그들이 너회와 더 불어 믿음을 같이 하기를 바라느 뇨 그들의 무리가 하나님의 말씀 을 듣고 이해 하면서도 그 말씀을왜곡하도다

and they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
밭 들 을 탐 하 여 빼 앗 고 집 들 을 탐 하 여 취 하 니 그 들 이 사 람 과 그 집 사 람 과 그 산 업 을 학 대 하 도

do not covet what god has favoured some with more than he has some others. men have a share in what they earn, and women have theirs in what they earn. ask god for his favours. surely god has knowledge of everything.
너희 가운데 하나님의 은혜 를 보다 많이 받는 자가 있나니 시기하지 말라 남성은 그들이 얻 은 것 가운데서 몫이 있고 여성도그들이 얻은 것 가운데서 몫이 있나니 서로를 시기하지 말며 하나 님께 구원하라 하나님은 모든 일 에 전지전능하심이라

do not covet that whereby god in bounty has preferred one of you above another. to the men a share from what they have earned, and to the women a share from what they have earned. and ask god of his bounty; god knows everything.
너희 가운데 하나님의 은혜 를 보다 많이 받는 자가 있나니 시기하지 말라 남성은 그들이 얻 은 것 가운데서 몫이 있고 여성도그들이 얻은 것 가운데서 몫이 있나니 서로를 시기하지 말며 하나 님께 구원하라 하나님은 모든 일 에 전지전능하심이라

allah did indeed fulfil his promise to you when ye with his permission were about to annihilate your enemy,-until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after he brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the hereafter. then did he divert you from your foes in order to test you but he forgave you: for allah is full of grace to those who believe.
하나님께서 너희에게 약속 을 이행하사 너희가 그분의 권능 으로 그들을 전멸하였노라 그때 너희는 절망에 있었고 질서가 붕 괴되었더라 하나님께서는 너희가 탐내는 것을 주었는데도 선지자의 명령에 복종하지 아니하였노라 너희 가운데는 현세를 원하는 자 가 있었고 또 너희 가운데는 내세 를 원하는 자가 있었더라 그리하 여 하나님은 너희를 그들 적으로 부터 자유롭게 하였으니 이는 너 희를 시험하기 위함이라 그분은 너희를 사하여 주사 믿는 자들에 게 충만한 은총을 주시노라
