and we delivered those who believed and were wont to avoid disobeying (allah).
하나님은 믿음을 갖고 하나 님을 두려워하는 이들을 구했노라

to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying god).
그대 마음에 내리어 그것으 로 그대가 경고자가 되도록 하였 으며

say, "i am afraid that for disobeying my lord i shall suffer the torment of the great day".
일러가로되 내가 주님을 거 역할 때 실로 어느 위대한 날에 무서운 벌을 내가 받을 것이라 명 령을 받았으며

and partake of the lawful, good things which allah has provided you as sustenance, and refrain from disobeying allah in whom you believe.
하나님이 너희에게 허락한 양식을 먹되 하나님을 두려워 하 라 너희는 믿는 신앙인들이라

as for him who gave out his wealth (for allah's sake) and abstained (from disobeying him),
자선을 베풀고 두려워 하며

and when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, we saved those who had forbidden evil and seized those who wronged, with a wretched punishment, because they were defiantly disobeying.
그러나 그들에게 경고된 교훈을 망각한 무리가 있었으니 하 나님은 사악함을 멀리한 백성만을 구하고 죄지은 백성에게는 그들이 지은 죄로 말미암아 엄한 벌을 주 었노라

but those who wronged changed [those words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them, so we sent down upon those who wronged a punishment from the sky because they were defiantly disobeying.
그러나 그 우매한 사람들은 그들에게 계시된 말씀을 변조하였 으니 하나님께서 그 우매한 사람 들에게 하늘로부터 혹사병을 보내 도다. 이는 그들이 계속 죄를 범했기 때문이라

(muhammad), ask them, "what is the greatest testimony? god testifies of my truthfulness to you. he has revealed this quran to me to warn you and the coming generations (against disobeying god). do you believe that other gods exist besides god? i solemnly declare that he is the only lord and that i am not guilty of believing in what the pagans believe."
그들에게 어느 것이 가장 훌륭한 증언이냐 일러 가로되 그 들이 대답하지 못하니 하나님이 나와 너희들 사이의 증인이라 하 여라 내게 꾸란이 성령으로 계시 되었으니 이는 나로 하여금 너희 들과 그 성서가 이르는 모든 사람들에게 경고하기 위함이라 너희들은 하나님 외에 다른 신이 있다고할련지 모르나 나는 그것을 증언 하지 아니하며 또한 하나님은 한 분이시며 너희가 섬기는 우상들과내가 같지 않다 하여라
