그러나 너희와 동맹을 맺고 있는 부족으로 피신을 오는자나 또는 그들의 마음이 너희와 그 부족과 싸움을 억제하려는 그들과는제외라 만일 하나님이 원하셨다면너희를 제압할 수 있는 힘을 그들에게 주어 그들이 너희와 싸우도 록 했으리라 그러므로 그들이 너 희로부터 물러나 너희와 화평함을원한다면 하나님께서 너희로 하여금 그들을 공격토록 길을 열어 주시지 아니하니라
