we shall pay those who desire the present life and its adornments in full for the work they have done therein, they shall not be defrauded;
ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމާއި، އެ ދުނިޔޭގެ ޒީނަތްތެރިކަމަށް އެދޭމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެންގެ عمل ތައް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް އެތާނގައި ހަމަޔަށް ފުއްދަވައި ދެއްވާހުށީމެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އެތާނގައި އުނި ނުކުރައްވާހުށްޓެވެ.

the things you have been given, and its adornments, are but the enjoyment of this present life. what is with allah is better and everlasting.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި ކޮންމެ އެއްޗަކީ، ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަގުތީ އުފަލެކެވެ. އަދި އެތާނގެ ޒީނަތްތެރިކަމެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައިވާ ތަކެތި ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑުވެފައި، ދެމިހުރުން ބޮޑެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް ނުވިސްނޭ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and also adornments of gold. but all this were nothing but conveniences of the present life: the hereafter, in the sight of thy lord is for the righteous.
އަދި (އެތަކެއްޗަށް) ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ލެއްވީމުހެވެ. އެހުރިހާ ތަކެއްޗަކީ، ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެއްކަމުގައިނޫނީ ނުވެެތެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި تقوى ވެރިންނަށް آخرة ގެ نعمة ހުށްޓެވެ.

wealth and children are the adornments of the present life. but the things that last, the virtuous deeds, are better with your lord for reward, and better for hope.
މުދަލާއި ދަރިންނަކީ ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ޒީނަތްތެރިކަމެވެ. އަދި ދެމިހުންނަނިވި صالح عمل ތައް، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ثواب ގެގޮތުން މާހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. އަދި އެދޭ އެދުމެއްގެ ގޮތުން މާހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑުމެއެވެ.

there is no blame on elderly women who are past the age of marriage, if they take off their outer clothing, without revealing their adornments. but it would be better for them to guard themselves.
ކާވެންޏަކަށް އެދުންނުވާ، މުސްކުޅި އަންހެނުން، ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ފާޅުނުކުރާގޮތުގައި، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފޭރާން ލުއިކޮށްލުމަކުން، އެކަނބަލުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ކުށެއް ނެތެވެ. (ނަމަވެސް) އެކަނބަލުން عفة ތެރިވުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

(as for) women that are past childbearing who have no hope of marriage there is no fault in them that they discard their cloaks provided they do not reveal their adornments, but it is better if they abstain. allah is the hearer, the knower.
ކާވެންޏަކަށް އެދުންނުވާ، މުސްކުޅި އަންހެނުން، ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ފާޅުނުކުރާގޮތުގައި، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފޭރާން ލުއިކޮށްލުމަކުން، އެކަނބަލުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ކުށެއް ނެތެވެ. (ނަމަވެސް) އެކަނބަލުން عفة ތެރިވުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
