ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅަށް އެއުރެންނާމެދު، ބިރުވެރިކަމެއް ވަދެއްޖެއެވެ. އެ މެހުމާނުން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުފުޅުގެންވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ! (ތިމަންމެންނީ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮނުއްވި ملائكة ންނީމުއެވެ.) އަދި އެ މެހުމާނުން އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް علم ވެރި ދަރިކަލަކު ލިބިވަޑައިގަންނަވާނެކަމުގެ އުފާވެރި خبر ދެއްވޫއެވެ.

رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އެއުރެންގެ މީހަކު نسبة ކުރިފަދަ ދަރިޔަކު (އެބަހީ: އަންހެން ދަރިޔަކު) ލިބުނުކަމުގެ خبر އެމީހަކަށް ދެވިއްޖެނަމަ، އޭނާގެ މޫނު އަނދިރިވެގެންދެއެވެ. އޭނާޔަށް އެކަމުގެ ހިތާމަ ލިބިގެންވާ حال ގައެވެ.

he hides himself from the people because of the evil of that which is announced to him. shall he keep it with disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust?
އެމީހާއަށް ދެވުނު خبر ގެ ނުބައިކަމުން، މީސްތަކުންގެ ކިބައިން އޭނާ ނިވައިވެގަނެތެވެ. ނިކަމެތިކަންމަތީގައި، އޭނާ އެ ކުއްޖާ ގެންގުޅޭނީ ބާވައެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ ފަސްގަނޑުގެ ތެރެޔަށް އެ ކުއްޖާ ކޮށްޕައިލާނީ ބާވައެވެ؟ ދަންނާށެވެ! އެއުރެންކުރާ حكم ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވެއެވެ.

your lord has announced that, he would send against them, until the day of resurrection, those who would inflict terrible suffering upon them. your lord is swift in retribution, yet he is forgiving and merciful.
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އެންގެވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުބައިވެގެންވާ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ދައްކާނޭ ބަޔަކު قيامة ދުވަހަށް ދާނދެން އެކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ފޮނުއްވާހުށްޓެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، عقاب ދެއްވުން އަވަސްވެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލާނގެއީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

but if they turn away, then say, "i have announced to [all of] you equally. and i know not whether near or far is that which you are promised.

and remember when your lord announced the command that till the day of resurrection i will certainly send such oppressors against them, who will inflict them with a dreadful punishment; indeed your lord is swift in meting out punishment; and indeed he is oft forgiving, most merciful.
