and we created pairs of everything that you may contemplate.
ކޮންމެ އެއްޗަކުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އަންހެން ފިރިހެން ދޭތި އުފެއްދެވީމެވެ. (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

surely, in that there are signs for those who contemplate.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންތަކުގައި، ވިސްނައި ފިކުރުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

do they not contemplate the quran, or are there locks on the hearts?
ފަހެ، قرآن އާމެދު އެއުރެން ވިސްނައި فكر ނުކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ (އެއުރެންގެ) ހިތްތަކުގައި ތަޅުތަކެއް ލެވިފައިވަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

so, could one who creates be like one who cannot? will you not then contemplate?
ފަހެ (އެންމެހާ ތަކެތި) ހައްދަވާ ކަލާނގެއާއި (އެއްޗެއް) ނަހަދާ ފަރާތަކާ އެއްފަދަވާނޭ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަނުކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

we have given examples of every kind for men in this qur'an so that they may contemplate:
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ މި قرآن ގައި މީސްތަކުންނަށް، ހުރިހާ ބާވަތަކުން مثال ޖެއްސެވީމެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެން ހަނދުމަކުޅައުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

will they not contemplate upon the koran? if it had been from other than allah, they would surely have found in it many contradictions.
ފަހެ، قرآن އާމެދު އެއުރެން ވިސްނައި ފިކުރު ނުކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެ قرآن އަކީ، اللَّه ނޫން އެހެން ފަރާތަކުން އައި އެއްޗެއް ކަމުގައިވީނަމަ، ގިނަވެގެންވާ ތަފާތުތައް އެއިން އެއުރެންނަށް ފެނުނީހެވެ.

he has subjected to you whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth; all is from him. surely, there are signs in this for people who contemplate.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ތަކެއްޗެއް އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި خدمة ތެރިކޮށްދެއްވިއެވެ. އެހުރިހާ ތަކެއްޗެއްވަނީ، އެކަލާނގެ حضرة ންނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަމުގައި ފިކުރުކުރާ ބަޔަކަށް ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

[this is] a blessed book that we have sent down to you, so that they may contemplate its signs, and that those who possess intellect may take admonition.
(މިއީ) ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބާވައިލެއްވި بركات ތެރި ފޮތެކެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެން އެ ފޮތުގެ آية ތަކުގެ މާނަތަކާމެދު ވިސްނައި ފިކުރުކުރުމަށެވެ. އަދި ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިން (އެއިން) نصيحة ލިބިގަތުމަށެވެ.

allah takes away souls at the time of their death (the temporary death of sleep), and those who do not die during their sleep he withholds that upon whichhe has decreed death, but turns lose the other till a stated term. surely, there are signs in this for a nation who contemplate.
نفس ތައް މަރުވާހިނދު، އެ نفس ތަކުގެ ފުރާނަތަކާއި، މަރުނުވެ ނިދާވަގުތުގައި ނިދާމީހުންގެ ފުރާނަތައް ހިއްޕަވަނީ اللَّه އެވެ. ދެން މަރުވުމަށް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައިފިމީހެއްގެ ފުރާނަ، އެކަލާނގެ ހިފަހައްޓަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެނޫންމީހުންގެ ފުރާނަ، ކަނޑައެޅިގެންވާ މުއްދަތަކަށް (ހަށިތަކަށް) ފޮނުއްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންތަކުގައި ފިކުރުކުރާ ބަޔަކަށް ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
