pleased with their endeavour,
ދުނިޔޭގައި އެއުރެންކުޅަ މަސައްކަތަށް ރުހިގެންވެއެވެ.

verily your endeavour is diverse.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންގެ عمل ތައް ތަފާތުވެގެންވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

well-pleased with their endeavour,
ދުނިޔޭގައި އެއުރެންކުޅަ މަސައްކަތަށް ރުހިގެންވެއެވެ.

that your endeavour is for different ends.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންގެ عمل ތައް ތަފާތުވެގެންވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and that he will soon be shown his endeavour,
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އޭނާ ކުޅަ عمل އެއް ނިކަންހުރެ އޭނާ ދެކޭނެތެވެ.

and that his endeavour shall be presently observed.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އޭނާ ކުޅަ عمل އެއް ނިކަންހުރެ އޭނާ ދެކޭނެތެވެ.

nor cease to endeavour praising him night and day.
އެ ملائكة ން ރެޔާދުވާލު ފޫހިވުމެއްނެތި (އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް) تسبيح ދަންނަވަތެވެ.

this is your reward. your endeavour is fully acknowledged.
(އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިކަންތައްވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ހެޔޮ) ޖަޒާއެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުޅަ މަސައްކަތަކީ، شكر ލިބެނިވި ކަމެއްކަމުގައި ވެއެވެ.

behold, this is your recompense and your endeavour has been appreciated.
(އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިކަންތައްވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ހެޔޮ) ޖަޒާއެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުޅަ މަސައްކަތަކީ، شكر ލިބެނިވި ކަމެއްކަމުގައި ވެއެވެ.

verily this is for you by way of recompense, and your endeavour hath been accepted.
(އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިކަންތައްވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ހެޔޮ) ޖަޒާއެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުޅަ މަސައްކަތަކީ، شكر ލިބެނިވި ކަމެއްކަމުގައި ވެއެވެ.

so obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them herewith with a great endeavour.
ފަހެ، كافر ންނަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެވަޑައި ނުގަންނަވާށެވެ! އަދި އެ قرآن ން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ޖިހާދަކުން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނާ ޖިހާދުކުރައްވާށެވެ!

and those who endeavour to frustrate our signs, unto the torment they will be brought.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދު ދެކޮޅުހަދަން މަސައްކަތްކުރާ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެން عذاب ގެތެރެޔަށް حاضر ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

"verily this is a reward for you, and your endeavour is accepted and recognised."
(އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިކަންތައްވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ހެޔޮ) ޖަޒާއެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުޅަ މަސައްކަތަކީ، شكر ލިބެނިވި ކަމެއްކަމުގައި ވެއެވެ.

and those who endeavour in respect of our signs to frustrate them- those shall be the fellows of flaming fire.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދު، ދެކޮޅުހަދައި ނުކުޅައްދަން އުޅޭމީހުންނަކީ، ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނެވެ.

indeed the hour is bound to come: i will have it hidden, so that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، قيامة ވުމުގެ ވަގުތަކީ، އަންނާނޭ އެއްޗެކެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެވަގުތު ވަންހަނާ ކުރެއްވުމަށް އިރާދަކުރައްވާފައިވަނީ، ކޮންމެ نفس އަކަށްވެސް، އެ نفس އެއް ކުޅަ عمل ގެ ޖަޒާ ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

"but he who desires the hereafter, and strives for it with a will, and is a believer, will be favoured for his endeavour.
އަދި مؤمن އަކު ކަމުގައިވާ حال، آخرة އަށް އެދި، އެދުވަހަކަށްޓަކައި މަސައްކަތްކޮށްފިމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ މަސައްކަތް مقبول ވެވި، شكر ލިބިގެންވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

and whosoever does deeds of righteousness, being a believer, no unthankfulness shall befall his endeavour; we ourselves write it down for him.
ފަހެ، إيمان ވެހުރެ صالح عمل ތައް ކުރާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހާގެ عمل ގެއްލިއެއް ނުދާނެތެވެ. އަދި އެމީހާގެ عمل ތައް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލިޔުއްވާހުށީމެވެ.

"verily the hour is coming - my design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its endeavour.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، قيامة ވުމުގެ ވަގުތަކީ، އަންނާނޭ އެއްޗެކެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެވަގުތު ވަންހަނާ ކުރެއްވުމަށް އިރާދަކުރައްވާފައިވަނީ، ކޮންމެ نفس އަކަށްވެސް، އެ نفس އެއް ކުޅަ عمل ގެ ޖަޒާ ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

so obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them (by preaching) with the utmost endeavour, with it (the quran).
ފަހެ، كافر ންނަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެވަޑައި ނުގަންނަވާށެވެ! އަދި އެ قرآن ން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ޖިހާދަކުން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނާ ޖިހާދުކުރައްވާށެވެ!

(and it will be said unto them): lo! this is a reward for you. your endeavour (upon earth) hath found acceptance.
(އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިކަންތައްވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ހެޔޮ) ޖަޒާއެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުޅަ މަސައްކަތަކީ، شكر ލިބެނިވި ކަމެއްކަމުގައި ވެއެވެ.
