عذ ر ނެތިކުރެއްވުމަށާއި، إنذار ކުރެއްވުމަށެވެ.

by way of excuse or warning.
عذ ر ނެތިކުރެއްވުމަށާއި، إنذار ކުރެއްވުމަށެވެ.

to excuse some and warn others:
عذ ر ނެތިކުރެއްވުމަށާއި، إنذار ކުރެއްވުމަށެވެ.

to serve as an excuse or a warning.
عذ ر ނެތިކުރެއްވުމަށާއި، إنذار ކުރެއްވުމަށެވެ.

neither be given leave, and excuse themselves.
އަދި އެއުރެން عذر ދެއްކުމަކަށް، އެއުރެންނަކަށް إذن އެއް ނުމެދެއްވާނޭމެއެވެ.

nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.
އަދި އެއުރެން عذر ދެއްކުމަކަށް، އެއުރެންނަކަށް إذن އެއް ނުމެދެއްވާނޭމެއެވެ.

and they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse.
އަދި އެއުރެން عذر ދެއްކުމަކަށް، އެއުރެންނަކަށް إذن އެއް ނުމެދެއްވާނޭމެއެވެ.

nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves.
އަދި އެއުރެން عذر ދެއްކުމަކަށް، އެއުރެންނަކަށް إذن އެއް ނުމެދެއްވާނޭމެއެވެ.

therefore excuse them and proclaim, “peace”; for they will soon come to know.
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނާ އެއްކިބާވެ ވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ! އަދި ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! سلام އެވެ! ފަހެ، ނިކަންހުރެ އެއުރެންނަށް (އެއުރެން ދޮގުކުރިކަމުގެ نتيجة) އެނގޭނެތެވެ.

then they will have no excuse but to say: by god our lord, we have not been associaters.
ދެން ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރި اللَّه ގަންދީ ބުނަމުއޭ، شريك ކުޅަ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންމެން ނުވަމުއޭ، އެއުރެން ބުނުން ނޫން ބަހަނާއެއް އެއުރެން ދައްކާކަށް ނެތެވެ.

maybe allah will excuse them, for allah is all-excusing, all-forgiving.
އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން اللَّه، عفو ކުރެއްވުން ގާތްވެގެންވެއެވެ. ގިނަގިނައިން عفو ކުރައްވާ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ ކަލަކުކަމުގައި اللَّه ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

i will punish him most severely, or slay him, unless he gives me a valid excuse.”
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، (އޭތީގެ عذر އެއްގެގޮތުން) ފާޅުވެގެންވާ ހެތްކެއް އަހުރެންގެގާތަށް ނުގެނައިނަމަ، އެ އެއްޗަށް ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ عقوبات އެއް އަހުރެން ދޭހުށީމެވެ. ނުވަތަ އޭތި ކަތިލާހުށީމެވެ.

but on that day their excuse shall not profit those who were unjust, nor shall they be regarded with goodwill.
ފަހެ، އެދުވަހުން އަނިޔާވެރިންނަކަށް އެއުރެން ދައްކާ عذر އަކުން މަންފާއެއް ނުކުރާނެތެވެ. އަދި ހެޔޮމަގަށް އެނބުރި ދިއުމަކަށް، އެއުރެންނަކަށް ތަނެއް ނުމެދެއްވާނޭމެއެވެ.

i verily will punish him with hard punishment or i verily will slay him, or he verily shall bring me a plain excuse.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، (އޭތީގެ عذر އެއްގެގޮތުން) ފާޅުވެގެންވާ ހެތްކެއް އަހުރެންގެގާތަށް ނުގެނައިނަމަ، އެ އެއްޗަށް ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ عقوبات އެއް އަހުރެން ދޭހުށީމެވެ. ނުވަތަ އޭތި ކަތިލާހުށީމެވެ.

then their excuse would be nothing but that they would say: by allah, our lord, we were not polytheists.
ދެން ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރި اللَّه ގަންދީ ބުނަމުއޭ، شريك ކުޅަ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންމެން ނުވަމުއޭ، އެއުރެން ބުނުން ނޫން ބަހަނާއެއް އެއުރެން ދައްކާކަށް ނެތެވެ.

the day when their excuse availeth not the evil-doers, and theirs is the curse, and theirs the ill abode.
(އެއީ) އަނިޔާވެރިންނަށް އެއުރެންގެ عذر ދެއްކުން މަންފާއެއް ނުކުރާނޭ ދުވަހެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް ހުރީ لعنة އެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށްހުރީ ނުބައިވެގެންވާ ގޮވައްޗެވެ.

'o you unbelievers, do not excuse yourselves today; you are only being recompensed for what you were doing.'
އޭ كافر ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! މިއަދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عذر ނުދައްކާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖަޒާދެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮށްއުޅުނު ކަންތަކަށެވެ.

o ye who disbelieve! excuse not yourselves to-day; ye are only being requited for that which ye have been working.
އޭ كافر ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! މިއަދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عذر ނުދައްކާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖަޒާދެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮށްއުޅުނު ކަންތަކަށެވެ.

make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. if we pardon one faction of you - we will punish another faction because they were criminals.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عذر ނުދައްކާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން إيمان ވުމަށްފަހު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިޔަތިބީ كافر ވެފައިކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ބަޔަކަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عفو ކުރެއްވިޔަސް، އަނެއްބަޔަކަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ދެއްވަމެވެ. އެއީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ކުށްވެރި ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ވީކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

(moses) said: if i ask thee after this concerning aught, keep not company with me. thou hast received an excuse from me.
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. މީގެފަހުން އެއްވެސް ކަމަކާމެދު، ކަލޭގެފާނާ ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު سؤال ކުރައްވައިފިނަމަ، ކަލޭގެފާނާއެކު ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ނުގެންދަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކިބައިން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް عذر އެއް ލިބިވަޑައިގެންފިއެވެ.
