އަދި زكريّا ގެފާނާއި، يحيى ގެފާނާއި، عيسى ގެފާނާއި، إلياس ގެފާނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. އެއިން ކޮންމެ ބޭކަލަކުމެވަނީ، صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

this was jesus, son of mary: a true account they contend about.
އެއީ مريم ގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުން عيسى ގެފާނެވެ. (މިއީ) އެއުރެން އެބަސްފުޅާމެދު شك ކުރާ، حق ތެދުބަސްފުޅެވެ.

އަދި زكريّا ގެފާނާއި، يحيى ގެފާނާއި، عيسى ގެފާނާއި، إلياس ގެފާނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. އެއިން ކޮންމެ ބޭކަލަކުމެވަނީ، صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

such was the true story of jesus, the son of mary, about which they dispute bitterly.
އެއީ مريم ގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުން عيسى ގެފާނެވެ. (މިއީ) އެއުރެން އެބަސްފުޅާމެދު شك ކުރާ، حق ތެދުބަސްފުޅެވެ.

and (prophets) zachariah, john, jesus and elias, each was of the righteous,
އަދި زكريّا ގެފާނާއި، يحيى ގެފާނާއި، عيسى ގެފާނާއި، إلياس ގެފާނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. އެއިން ކޮންމެ ބޭކަލަކުމެވަނީ، صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

and zachariah and john and jesus and elias. each one (of them) was of the righteous.
އަދި زكريّا ގެފާނާއި، يحيى ގެފާނާއި، عيسى ގެފާނާއި، إلياس ގެފާނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. އެއިން ކޮންމެ ބޭކަލަކުމެވަނީ، صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

(jesus) was only a creature whom we favoured and made an example for the children of israel.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް نعمة ދެއްވި އަޅަކުކަމުގައި މެނުވީ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ނުވެތެވެ. އަދި إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނަށް عبرة އެއް ކަމުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނު ލެއްވީމެވެ.

such was jesus, the son of mary. that is the whole truth, about which they still dispute:
އެއީ مريم ގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުން عيسى ގެފާނެވެ. (މިއީ) އެއުރެން އެބަސްފުޅާމެދު شك ކުރާ، حق ތެދުބަސްފުޅެވެ.

for god the likeness of jesus is as that of adam whom he fashioned out of dust and said "be" and he was.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައި، عيسى ގެފާނު (ހެއްދެވުމުގެ) مثال، آدم ގެފާނުގެ مثال ފަދައެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ، آدم ގެފާނު ހެއްދެވީ، ވެލީންނެވެ. ދެން، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް (އިންސާނަކަށް) [ވާށޭ] وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ދެން، (اللَّه وحى ކުރެއްވި ފަދައިން) ވެއްޖެއެވެ.

cursed were disbelievers among the children of israel by david and jesus, son of mary, because they rebelled and transgressed the bounds.
إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންގެ ތެރެއިން، كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް، داود ގެފާނާއި، مريم ގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުން عيسى ގެފާނުގެ ދޫފުޅުމަތިން لعنة ލައްވާފައިވެއެވެ. އެއީ އެއުރެން އުރެދުނު ކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އުރެދުމުގައި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާކަމުގައި އެއުރެން ވީކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

when we made the covenant with the prophets, and with you, as with noah and abraham, moses and jesus son of mary, a binding covenant,
ނަބީބޭކަލުންގެ ކިބައިންނާއި، ކަލޭގެފާނާއި نوح ގެފާނާއި، إبراهيم ގެފާނާއި، موسى ގެފާނާއި، مريم ގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުން عيسى ގެފާނުގެ ކިބައިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد ހިއްޕެވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އަދި އެބޭކަލުންގެ ކިބައިން ގަދަވެ ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހިއްޕެވީމެވެ.

(baby jesus said), "worship god who is my lord as well as yours. this is the straight path".
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެވެސް ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަލާނގެއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާށެވެ! މިއީ ސީދާވެގެންވާ ތެދުމަގެވެ.

(jesus only said:) "surely god is my lord and your lord, so worship him. this is the straight path."
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެވެސް ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަލާނގެއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާށެވެ! މިއީ ސީދާވެގެންވާ ތެދުމަގެވެ.

[jesus] said, "indeed, i am the servant of allah. he has given me the scripture and made me a prophet.
އެ ދަރިކަލުން ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަހުރެންނަކީ، اللَّه ގެ އަޅަކީމެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ މިއަޅާޔަށް ފޮތް ދެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި ނަބިއްޔަކު ކަމުގައި މިއަޅާ ލެއްވިއެވެ.

(jesus had said): "indeed allah is my lord and your lord, so serve him alone. this is the straight way."
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެވެސް ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަލާނގެއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާށެވެ! މިއީ ސީދާވެގެންވާ ތެދުމަގެވެ.

[jesus said], "and indeed, allah is my lord and your lord, so worship him. that is a straight path."
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެވެސް ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަލާނގެއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާށެވެ! މިއީ ސީދާވެގެންވާ ތެދުމަގެވެ.

(the followers of jesus) turned themselves into quarrelling sects. the disbelievers shall face a woeful condition on the great day (of judgment).
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ އެކި جماعة ތަކުގެ މެދުގައި خلاف އުފެދުނެވެ. ފަހެ، ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ދުވަހެއްގެ (ބިރުވެރިކަން) ދެކޭހިނދު، كافر ވީ މީހުންނަށް ހަލާކާއި ގެއްލުންހުށްޓެވެ.
