އަޅަކު ނަމާދުކޮށްފި ހިނދު، އެކަން ނަހީކޮށް، މަނާކުރާ މީހާ ތިބާ ދުށީމުހެއްޔެވެ؟

so woe to the praying ones,
އަދި مسكين ންނަށް ކާންދިނުމުގެ މައްޗަށް ބާރުނާޅާ މީހާއެވެ.

praying at dawn for god's pardon,
އަދި އެއުރެން ހާރުދަމުގައި ފާފަފުއްސެވުމަށްއެދި دعاء ކުރެތެވެ.

what will happen if the praying person is rightly guided
އަޅަކު ނަމާދުކޮށްފި ހިނދު، އެކަން ނަހީކޮށް، މަނާކުރާ މީހާ ތިބާ ދުށީމުހެއްޔެވެ؟

and in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for forgiveness;
އަދި އެއުރެން ހާރުދަމުގައި ފާފަފުއްސެވުމަށްއެދި دعاء ކުރެތެވެ.

in fact, we were praying to nothing before.” thus god sends the disbelievers astray.
ދެން އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ. اللَّه ފިޔަވައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شريك ކޮށް އުޅުނު ތަކެތި ކޮބައިހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. އެތަކެތި ތިމަންމެންގެ ކިބައިން ބީވެގެން ހިނގައްޖެއެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! މީގެކުރިން ތިމަންމެން އެއްވެސް އެއްޗަކަށް އަޅުކަންކޮށް ގޮވައިނަހަދަމުއެވެ. اللَّه، كافر ވިމީހުން މަގުފުރައްދަވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

man wearies not of praying for good, but when evil visits him, he despairs and gives up all hope.
ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް دعاء ކުރުމަކަށް އިންސާނާ ފޫއްސެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އުންމީދުކެނޑި، ހިތްމަރުވެފައިވާ މީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

man is never tired of praying for good, and if evil touch him, then he is despairing, hopeless.
ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް دعاء ކުރުމަކަށް އިންސާނާ ފޫއްސެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އުންމީދުކެނޑި، ހިތްމަރުވެފައިވާ މީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

man is not wearied of praying for worldly good, and if there tcucheth him an evil, he is despondent, despairing.
ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް دعاء ކުރުމަކަށް އިންސާނާ ފޫއްސެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އުންމީދުކެނޑި، ހިތްމަރުވެފައިވާ މީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

the human being never tires of praying for good things; but when adversity afflicts him, he despairs and loses hope.
ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް دعاء ކުރުމަކަށް އިންސާނާ ފޫއްސެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އުންމީދުކެނޑި، ހިތްމަރުވެފައިވާ މީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

i will leave you and those you invoke apart from god, and pray to my lord. haply in praying to my lord i will not be deprived."
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާއި اللَّه ފިޔަވައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަޅުކަންކުރާ ތަކެއްޗާ، އަހުރެން ވަކިވާހުށީމެވެ. އަދި އަހުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާހުށީމެވެ. އަހުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރުމުން އަބާއްޖަވެރިޔަކު ކަމުގައި އަހުރެން ނުވާށިއެވެ.

and there came the apologists from among dwellers of the desert men praying that leave may be given them and those who had lied unto allah and his apostle sat at home. an afflictive torment shall afflict those of them who disbelieve.
أعرابى ންގެ ތެރެއިން عذر ވެރިވެގަންނަ މީހުން (ހަނގުރާމަޔަށް ނުގޮސް ތިބުމަށް) އެއުރެންނަށް إذن ލިބުމަށްޓަކައި އައޫއެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ދޮގުހެދި މީހުން ނައިސް ތިބެއްޖައޫއެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް، ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب އައިސް ޖެހޭހުށްޓެވެ.

when people face hardship, they begin praying to their lord and turn in repentance to him. when they receive mercy from him, a group of them begin to consider things equal to god,
އަދި މީސްތަކުންނަށް ދަތި حال އެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރި ރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް توبة ވެ، رجوع ވާ حال، دعاء ކުރެތެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެންނަށް އެކަލާނގެ حضرة ން رحمة އެއްގެ ރަހަ ދައްކަވައިފިނަމަ، އެހިނދު އޭގެތެރެއިން ބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް شريك ކުރެތެވެ.

then the angels called to him as he stood praying in the sanctuary: that allah gives you the good news of yahya verifying a word from allah, and honorable and chaste and a prophet from among the good ones.
ދެންފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު محراب ގައި ނަމާދު ކުރެއްވުމުގައި قائم ވެވަޑައިގެން ހުންނަވަނިކޮށް، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް، ملائكة ން ގޮވާލައްވައި ދެންނެވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް يحيى ގެފާނު ދެއްވާނެކަމުގެ އުފާވެރި خبر ދެއްވަތެވެ. اللَّه ގެ حضرة ންވާ كلمة ފުޅެއް ތެދުކުރައްވާ ބޭކަލެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ. އަދި، (އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވާހުށީ) މާތް ސާހިބެއްކަމަށާއި، އަންހެނުންނާ ދުރުހެލިވެ ރައްކާތެރިވެވަޑައިގެންވާ ބޭކަލެއްކަމަށާއި، صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ ނަބީބޭކަލެއްކަމަށެވެ.

then the angels called unto him even while he stood praying in the apartment: verily allah announceth unto thee yahya confessing to a word from allah, and a leader, and a chaste and a prophet of the righteous one.
ދެންފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު محراب ގައި ނަމާދު ކުރެއްވުމުގައި قائم ވެވަޑައިގެން ހުންނަވަނިކޮށް، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް، ملائكة ން ގޮވާލައްވައި ދެންނެވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް يحيى ގެފާނު ދެއްވާނެކަމުގެ އުފާވެރި خبر ދެއްވަތެވެ. اللَّه ގެ حضرة ންވާ كلمة ފުޅެއް ތެދުކުރައްވާ ބޭކަލެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ. އަދި، (އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވާހުށީ) މާތް ސާހިބެއްކަމަށާއި، އަންހެނުންނާ ދުރުހެލިވެ ރައްކާތެރިވެވަޑައިގެންވާ ބޭކަލެއްކަމަށާއި، صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ ނަބީބޭކަލެއްކަމަށެވެ.

if you are late in performing your service of prayer honour god by remembering him, standing or sitting or lying on your sides. and when you have security perform your act of prayer befittingly; and praying at fixed hours is prescribed for the faithful.
އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނަމާދުކޮށް އަވަދިވެއްޖިއްޔާ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކޮށް އުޅޭށެވެ! ކޮޅަށްތިބޭ حال ގައްޔާއި، އިށީނދެތިބޭ حال ގައްޔާއި، އޮށޯވެތިބޭ حال ގައެވެ. އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް أمان ކަން ލިބިއްޖެ ހިނދަކު، ނަމާދު (ފުރިހަމަކޮށް) قائم ކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނަމާދަކީ مؤمن ތަކުންގެ މައްޗަށް وقت ކަނޑައެޅިގެންއޮތް فرض އެއްކަމުގައި ވެއެވެ.

(and tell them that) we never sent a messenger but that he should be obeyed by the leave of allah. if whenever they wronged themselves they had come to you praying to allah for forgiveness, and had the messenger prayed for their forgiveness, they would indeed have found allah all-forgiving, all-compassionate.
اللَّه ގެ إذن ފުޅާއެކު، ކިޔަމަންވުމަށްޓަކައި މެނުވީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއްވެސް رسول އަކު ނުފޮނުއްވަމެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެން އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް އަނިޔާވެރިވީހިނދު، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް އެއުރެން އައިސް، ފާފަފުއްސެވުމަށް اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް ދަންނަވައި އެދުނުނަމަ، އަދި، رسول އާ އެއުރެންނަށް ފާފަފުއްސެވުމަށް އެދިވަޑައިގެން دعاء ކުރެއްވިނަމަ، ގިނަގިނައިން توبة قبول ކުރައްވާ رحيم ވަންތަ ކަލަކު ކަމުގައި އެއުރެން اللَّه ދެކޭނެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
