މިއީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފަތެވެ. އެ ފަތް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް حق ގޮތުގައި ހެކިދެއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތައް (ملائكة ން މެދުވެރިކުރައްވައި) ލިޔުއްވީމެވެ.

say thou: allah pronounceth thus in the matter of one without father or child: if a person perisheth and hath no child, but hath a sister, hers shall be the half of that which he hath left: and he shall be her heir if she hath no child, if there be two sisters, then theirs shall be two-third of that which he hath left; and if there be both brothers and sisters, then male shall have as much as the portion of two females. allah expoundeth unto you, lest ye err; and allah is of everything knower.
(كلالة އާމެދު) ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހުން، އެއުރެން فتوى އަށް އެދި ދަންނަވަތެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! كلالة އާމެދު (އެބަހީ: أصل އެއް فرع އެއް ނެތި މަރުވާމީހާގެ ތަރިކަޔާމެދު) اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް بيان ކޮށް ދެއްވަތެވެ. އެމީހަކަށް ދަރިޔަކު (ނުވަތަ ބަފަޔަކު) ނެތި، އަދި އެމީހަކަށް (އެއްބަނޑު އެއްބަފާ ނުވަތަ އެއްބަފާ) أخت އަކުވާ حال، މީހަކު މަރުވެއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އެމީހާ ދޫކުޅަ މުދަލުގެ ދެބައިކުޅައެއްބައި، އެ أخت އަށެވެ. އަދި، އެ أخت އަށް ދަރިޔަކު ނުވާނަމަ، އެމީހާ އެ أخت ވާރުތަކުރާނެއެވެ. (މަރުވިމީހާގެ وارث ންނަށް ތިބި) ދެ أخت ން ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، ފަހެ، އެ ދެ أخت ންނަށް (އެ أخ) ދޫކުޅަ މުދަލުގެ ތިންބައިކުޅަ ދެބަޔެވެ. (وارث ންނަށް ތިބީ) އަންހެން ފިރިހެން، އެއްބަނޑު އެއްބަފާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، ދެ އަންހެނުންގެ ބައިފަދަ ބަޔެއް ފިރިހެނަކަށެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް މަގު އޮޅިދާނެކަމަށްޓަކައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް اللَّه، بيان ކޮށް ދެއްވަތެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ކޮންމެކަމެއްމެ، މޮޅަށްދެނެވޮޑިވެގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
